@@crimsonvixen7061 how is it interesting? The devs literally didn’t even give that a second thought. It’s useless to include Desmond dying outside of the animus. You can’t “reinitialize” when you die and you aren’t in the animus. Allowing Desmond to die in those segments makes no sense.
At the end of each sequence, I'd leave the animus to go search for an artifact(s). I knew that there was one on the roof somewhere, but I wasn't able to find it. After I got my first 2 assassin recruits, I left and animus and looked on the roof (again for like the nth time). On the very upper part of the roof, I found an artifact in that second crater (supposedly made by those cannonballs during the Monteriggioni attack). That specific crater was NOT there any of the previous times. Anyways, the appearance of the 5 artifacts seems to appear at random times. One time I played, it was right before Desmond re-entered the animus. Other times, I couldn't find them at all. I guess the game likes to play tricks on us when finding the artifacts. #socruel
@9AlexB6 Well, currently being in Italy, they did a pretty good job of recreating Florence, Venice and San Gimingiano, whereas there are literally no similarities between Monteriggioni except the outer wall. I don't mind, because I love the games so much, but it still would have been cool if the Modern Version looked slightly different from the Renaissance one.

@kirokyukan you get a trophy for the first one you find (but thats it). And since you're synch is based on what you do as Ezio, what you do as Desmond has no bearing on it (though you do need to do end as Desmond to finish the game).

@9robke123 After the end AC2 where they escaped in the van they had to go to the last safehouse in Italy, Monteriggioni. They hide from the templars there and Desmond has to go around turning the electricity on to power the animus. The place is still pretty much the same as Ezio left it hundreds of years ago, and yes you can leave the animus at any time and explore. :D
if you follow it you will see lucy staring at the moon, and then you talk to her, this plus the fact that you kill her at the end of the game makes me suspect that she is a triple agent, a templar pretending to be an assassin who pretended to be a templar who revealed she was an assassin but is still secretly a templar. in other words i think she's a templar
@DiaoChanDw You can't, unfortunately. You have to start over again. Don't worry though. Just turn on the power and then immediately leave the animus, and you can get them pretty quick.
First of all he is timed because he has to be back before the templars trace him, second of all you can play as Desmond because you can leave the animus at any given time.
I'm a little disappointed they didn't, ya know, fix up the Villa Auditore. lol It's still in the same state it was in (minus being all wired up and whatnot) when it was attacked by the Borgia in Ezio's memory. I was a little bummed they didn't fix it all up. Oh well.
i guess since its a historical building it was protected from renovation in modern times, but have no idea why it wasnt fixed from 1500 to modern day 😂
i think something is hidden or was hidden under the drainage. the red footsteps mean enemy, and the person who created the villa hid the shroud of turin somewhere on its property. the shroud has healing powers and can possibly heal lucy and get desmond out of a coma. just my thoughts, and btw the red footprints are there the first time you explore the villa, has nothing to do with lucy dissappearing. replay and feel stupid if you dont believe me.

Hey guys a there's this other one in the sanctuary and go to one of the statues (forgot Witch one) but it's the one with the shelf but it will say push x to interact then it does nothing.
@NosreBDF well if you search, like.. Shroud of Turin, you'll find info about it, just google it. And I don't remember where I read it, supposedly, Mario ( Ezio's dead uncle ), built Monterigionni over the very place where the shroud was, it was full of traps, and in one a blade cut his eye, which is why he's got a blind eye and a scar. But yeah. Shroud of Turin was supposedly Jesus' shroud when he died

@Highbudget i looked it up you need to find 1 of the items for the achievement not all 5. maybe you already got it?? you also get a achievement for accesing your mail. you need to get those 2 there if you dont you are doing something wrong or you already got them.
@Samuel032593 that or its a safety thing, so if your a 7 or 8 year old and you cant find your way back to the Villa you locate the shining red trail, you go towards it and you follow it back to the hideout.
@GreatX546 maybe not but still gathering Desmonds ancesters items instead of letting them rust and decay and besides you get an achivement for finding just one of them.
You get teleported back into the sanctuary and absolutely nothing happens if/when you find them all except you can see them laying on shelves in the sanctuary

last i heard of the shroud it was under templar possession. there is also a PoE that can manipulate time itself, thus creating a butterfly effect. so the butterfly effect theory isnt completly out of the pic. abstergo locked the apple away because the possibility of create a parodox.......... any thoughts
@92mbs No, well thats cos technically as per the end of the game, desmond's not connected to animus anymore. Or even in Monterrigioni. You're just plain old Ezio. Annoyingly, you do still need synch your missions (assuming you have some still to do).

@lavaspartan674 It wouldnt make sense that way because according to Eagle vision Allies or good things are blue, useful things glow gold and BAD things glow red... like I posted I assumed that maybe its the trail left by Abstergo agents searching the area... you know like maybe Eagle Vision allows for him to get a "vibe" for things...

@JayDS1990 Well, if you're only completing the game for trophies, then you probably won't be getting the most out of the game anyway... But if you're hundred percenting the whole game itself to find out all the Christina backstory missions, thats probably more rewarding than meaningless trophies.
@spartanp711 don't you get teleported back when the time runs out ? so you don't really need any trails back there : / It has to do something with the code on the wall because the blood trail goes directly there... and in the very start desmond said that ezio returned there later on (after the villa attack), so it could be that before ezio died he went back there to wrote the codes, after all he was the one who hid the apple PLUS he used the apple so he knew what to write ...
Ehh, some random crap about how the Templars found their last hiding place, so Monteriggioni is the only place left that they can set up and keep from being detected by the Templars from the cell towers or whatever. And that's where the Apple is by the time this game starts up (where Desmond is with Ezio's memories), so I'm assuming they view it as a kind of lead in finding it.

I kept accidentally walking back into the sanctuary when I was going for that damn record book...
Amazing how it doesn't matter when you go outside, there is always 10 minutes till dawn

well there is a cheat to become desmond, but that requires 100% completion of the last sequence and you have to turn it on too. Idk it may be a glitch
