Your time travel book idea reminded me of an episode of The Twilight Zone called, "Time Enough at Last". It's absolutely a book-lovers nightmare. Haha!
You're welcome. I highly recommend. I'm not a huge nonfiction reader either, but that was why I liked it. It wasn't dry and read very smoothly. It's almost more biographical than anything. I got the audiobook out of the library and mainly listened to that as I find I prefer nonfiction on audio when possible. Either way, happy reading!
Great fun! Cookies, tea, and books are the best. 😅 Oh no, did you dnf Jonathan Strange? It does get better and better, it's just a slow build. The Uriah Heep book sounds cool. Added it to my tbr! I can safely say I will never read James Joyce. 😂
Don't worry, I finished Jonathan. Review out this week. I think you'd love the Uriah book. Tons of fun and very unexpected characters for a fantasy novel. I don't know about Joyce. I'll try him...again...eventually...
The best thing about this tag is finding awesome new channels to follow. This was so much fun, it felt like a collaboration---you in your kitchen, me in mine! I love your energy and your sense of humor. Thank you so much for taking up the tag and especially for having me in your kitchen. :) (Also, I want to read your book about books.)
Thanks for making the tag! I loved your questions as they had more to do with you and your books then anything else. And I also enjoyed knowing we both made our videos in the kitchen.
I rarely, if ever, get notifications of mentions. You have to just occasionally check the "mentions" tab under "comments" in youtube studio. It's dumb and needs to be incorporated better.
I visited Scotland a couple years ago. My husband became enamored with the electric kettle in our apartment there. I bought him one for Christmas that year. Up until that point I would have said that Americans don’t own electric kettles, but now I am seeing them in videos everywhere.
many many years ago when i was in college someone told me that her grandfather put out his eye drinking tea with the spoon in the cup! uriah heep looks good..
I love your bookmarks. Those are some great questions. I am actually going to use one for a writer's group prompt this week:if you could have dinner with 3 fictional characters...
I'm thinking of rereading it next year on that dates the letters were written (not my idea). I've checked it out and it would take the entire year to get through (with March being the heaviest reading month). Let me know if you're interested in joining me!
❤🎉
Hahaha love how you show the teabag, I dunno how to explain it but seeing you, being you in your kitchen, feels so homely
Thanks Nani! I was behind the camera so really didn't mean to drop the entire thing in the cup!
I like fewer experimental books, too - usually. Once in a while, a book comes along that works despite not being linear.
I agree.

I'm going to have to look that episode up!
Such a fun tag and love your answers 😊
Thanks!
I just love your book tag videos!! 🌼🌼🌼
Thanks Donna!
Love, love, love your book tag videos!
Thank you! I'm finding it way more fun to do them while bustling about, so glad that everyone else seems to be enjoying them too.
@@noteworthyfiction It's like we get to hang out with you :)
Great video! I need to check out "Radium Girls" soon. I know what basically went down, but I hear good things about the book. Happy Reading! 😎📚👍
Thanks! It was an easy and informative read. Highly recommend.
Fun video! A functional kitchen is a good kitchen. imo. 🤗
agreed
Thanks for the tag! I have Radium Girls on my shelf but I am soooo bad at reading nonfiction I've been avoiding it.

I really like your kitchen, it feels homey and reminds me of my own ^_^ looking forward to more fun tags!
Thanks! You're the second person to say that, so it must be so. spoiler: filming another tag with dinner tonight!
Okay, I love kitchen videos! If my kitchen were not such a mess, I might do them as well. Thanks for doing the tag!
Don't worry. This video was made by shifting some empty pizza boxes around on the counters. lol
Found out the Uriah Heep is at my library. I really want to read this. I will have to squeeze it into the May TBR. Or June…
Also my notifications are really stupid, and did not notify me that you tagged me 🫣.

@@noteworthyfiction ooooh - thanks for the tip!

My best friend had one growing up, but her parents were British, so...I bought one as soon as I found one in store. They're great!

Yes, Hillary came up with great questions! The book marks that clip and dangle are called book jigs and they're my favorite!
@@noteworthyfiction meant to say "tags" of course!
Clarissa has been on my shelf for years and I still haven’t read it! One day, one day. I love that you studied 18th century literature!

I have never read a book so fast as _The Count of Monte Cristo_ (and I mean by a whopping margin).
lol. I know what you mean. I was only reading it for bed but wont deny that I went to bed early a few nights and stayed up night a few times as well.
