I just loved everything about Kraftwerk, it formed my whole teenage years, I moved to Germany and I loved everything about it just like I loved Kraftwerk. Not so much the new Germany but the Germany in the type of photos on Trans Europe Express.. there's some gorgeous buildings in older parts of the cities and there was just something, Wolfgang and Karl spoke about that kind of found a resonance in me. The melodies are still beautiful and I still think it was a very magical time in my life. I don't know exactly where the current Kraftwerk fits.. I eventually started losing touch with what they were doing. It's so lovely to see Wolfgang and Karl here. There was a look that Kraftwerk had which was very romantic and it isn't the same now.

Florians head is actually the size of a football, because he's so clever, so now you know. My job here is done.

Great to see this again. And they where right. Today we are living in a computer world.
We're even searching for love online. Computer love. Funny to think about it, that this album is from 1981, and at that time,
these guys understood that computers will change our lives forever.

they should do like a reunion where the past members of Kraftwerk would meet up again and maybe make a song or something

Wolfgang is such a great, cool guy, I went to to see him play a dj set sometime in the late 90s (i think) and he was hanging out in the club afterwards just chatting to people. He is very warm and approachable, I had a great chat with him - I didn't really ask him any Kraftwerk questions because I could imagine that gets pretty tedious for him. We talked about his Yamo album which I loved and i also told him how much I liked the 'I was a robot' 12" he asked me if I have it, I said yes I've been playing it non stop - he said ah I have some copies with me you could have had one. He was literally going to go and get one to give to me. I said no, give it to someone who doesn't already have it - a really cool guy.
