I think the Brit light tank line was meant to be a bunch of passive scouts, but WG forgot that they added Vheeled Wehicles and had the T-100 LT in the game... but they look cool so it will be worth the grind... to just sit there... and stare at your tank... in the garage...

There are plenty of people playing it. I know because Setter is the only light tank that I can spot from a medium a mile away.
Since the Russian oligarchs took over at WG, WG has lost sight of the OBJECT of ANY GAME. ie. It's like a phukkin' SPORT. See that’s what I’ve always hated about the stats. Most of the time people with between 40-45% really aren’t that bad. Usually the low % is because teams are so bad, and you get into a position where you just die or can’t support the nubs. Stats don’t always tell the whole story

Anyway it's Claus' fumbling mix of not quite understanding the game mechanics mixed with his continual questioning of the game which brought the comment. Now that you mention it tho, he also had started making a lot of comments about his team.
This might just be the line for me. I suck in OP tanks . If I start playing this line I can just blame the tank.

Sometimes you just have to fire blind, it can win games...sometimes. No need for it to only have 20 rounds tho, it's just stupid.

with only 19 shots at Tier X why carry anything but gold ammo? Can you afford to Not pen with that little ammo? (which is probably what WG intended).

In KV-2 you have problem shot all rounds till end of a battle, so in the british light line this was solved. :-)

Yes my t95e2 crew is a 6 perk. However ots still a tier 8 med. I outspotted and killed a manticore last night. 1v1 a tier 10 light lost to a tier 8 medium.
I have something like 2700 dpm on the tank, but still i wasnt spotted until the manticore was within 300m. I spitted him at 400+ while moving, and I was not lit.
Also to give some insight. I was watching wot na streams. Asking if they would tell me the in game chat rules, and they mentioned that the manticore is 'balanced' amd everyone is mad that they made a 'balanced' line.

You should watch the WG videos that explain the game's mechanics (there's several). Not camo and view range or soft stats or crew skills, but the actual mechanism by which tanks spot each other.
Visualize a transparent box around any tank.
Neither turret position, gun length, machine guns, or antennae affect the box's dimensions; it uses those of the tank's physics model, which equals the width (including tracks), overall length (including tracks where applicable), and its height measured at the topmost point of the highest hatch.
Positioned about this box are 'visibility check points', numbering seven:
1. Center of the top of the box
2. Center of the front hull
3. Center of the rear hull
4-5. On both left and right sides, centered along the horizontal axis, but aligned on the vertical axis with the center of the turret's height
6. The gun mantlet, right at the point the gun emerges; this visibility check point moves along with the turret/gun.
7. The gun mantlet check point, when the gun is positioned at 12 o'clock, and its elevation is 0°, relative to the horizontal plane of the hull (irrespective of terrain), this visibility check point is fixed and does not move with the gun or turret
And each vehicle has two view range ports:
1. Center of the highest point of the commander's hatch
2. Basically same as the #6 visibility check point
What happened here is the angle that Death Star was at when it disappeared was such that its rear, left side, and mantlet spotting checkpoints had an obstacle preventing a visibility check 'ray' (emitted from all tanks all the time, with their frequency decreasing as distance increases). Essentially, if a ray from either of your two view ports can be drawn to any of an enemy vehicle's spotting checkpoints, and they are within your effective detection range, you will 'spot' the enemy. If any one of those visibility/view range/concealment tests fails, you do not spot the enemy.

P.S. - The Manticore looks like a re-skinned AMX 13 105 without a magazine.
One thing that was made clear: you *don't* have enough ammo to take blind shots. That's kinda dumb.

.... then you'll remember when he has said in the past "you don't damage anything you don't shoot at". I've watched them all as well and I can't think of too many times he's wasted shots other than blind shooting bushes, he obviously likes a big bushy bush to shoot into!

What got me is the game saying the gunner is dead and the gun shoots at the rev! How did he shoot? The gunner/commander is dead or is he half dead because commander is still alive?
What I really have about the game nowadays are the vanishing tanks. They're spotted and you can see them behind bushes and buildings and the moment they move out in the open they disappear…

From what I've heard, this line is meant to be played as passive spotters. That's why they have next to no ammo. I'd try running one with binocs, camo net, and vents to maximize stealth and spotting to see how it performs. Still doubt I'll go up this line though.

I had read some advice for the game quite awhile ago that said, as a spotter, wait for a full minute before you go spot to let your shooters move into position. I don't know it this works, because I am so aggressive that it keeps my goal happening of being the first to die. Enjoy

You've got the vehicle rigged out entirely wrong. It is *NOT* and can never be an active scout, period flat out.
You've got to get as many view range enhancements as possible and push it to the limit (which most of the mediums can match without trying) then just go sit in a bush and do nothing the rest of the fight.
The only really good thing about the Tier ten is that it looks cool. gotcha.
Tier ten is crap, what kind of dumbass game rewards the player for getting to the highest level by making it near impossible to earn money playing the top tier? Even if you play well the chances are the rest of your team are knuckle dragging muppets.

U were hitting the type heavy wreck.. and enemy FV was behind wall. Hitting the wreck gave you a small arc, because it's closer than whatever was behind it. That and she'll velocity

Hi from across the pond. Thanks for the reviews of what are clearly cr4p tanks but more than that, thanks for your patience during what must have been a totally frustrating gaming experience.
Claus you achieved a 40% win rate in a turd. Some of your best game play ever, no joke.
You say you will shoot them move but you tend to move just as you pull the trigger sending your shot wild.
Claus, you noted that you only had twenty rounds, then took five blind shots, and then wondered why you were out of ammo?
The tree didn't slow you down. It was a shubbery.
There are some small invisible walls in this game due to bad modelling or texturing of the environment models. They are there since the beginning of the game and i think regardless of the graphic options. Some of these were fixed but a lot still exist up to this day sadly. You can detect these small shell absorbing walls best when you aim only a few pixels above a ridge or an object but there are not a lot of places in each map where you can find them.

There are several british light tanks that were actually used, which should have been put in the game instead of these paper/prototype tanks.Major fail by WG.

Claus your rounds were hitting the dead Type 5. When rounds hit dead tanks at range it doesn't render the collision effect. So it looks like you are hitting something.

Or may be they felt Impossible Nightmare Mode (German tankline) was not enough of a challange, so the added new Impossible Hellish Nightmare Mode with British lights.
Anyhow, at least they can look very important amidst the battlefield :)

We love you Claus, but in the first game, the Death Star was moving back and forth benind the wall, so he was in and out of view, you were shooting the dead type4 heavy, it happens.
You can't afford to take blind shots in the Manticore.
I watched only the first game till now, and have to say it till I forget: Ttat MARCOMATA moron might just be the planting seed for your next series - "the stupidest pingers".
And who knows? maybe the next WG move is loot boxes with "extra ammo" in them? Just 4.99 bucks for 10 rounds...?

I had no issues with the British light tanks i think their fun u can do massive spotting damage with them, yeah the guns take a shit ton of time to reload but hey big BFD. Still love playing them even though i'm bald now LOL from playing them but. Great video as always mate. 👍

wasn't planning to grind these but watched anyways. two thing kind of stood out. You mention having to use the W key to move and that some players seem to not know this at the start of games. I've noticed this too. What i want to know is what Psychos don't have their finger on the W key from the 3rd second of the count down?
Also with hat EBR that hit you. It seems like a lot of players drive in Sniper mode a lot. I mean yes i occasionally move in sniper mode to get shots etc. But not often. And not for more than a few seconds either. Am i wrong are people driving everywhere in sniper mode or Not?

I keep trying to tell myself this but I haven't reached the breaking point. But then, ten games a night is a big deal for me. Lots of guys doing ten times that.
The whole game is bullshit now, it's P2W trash. WOT is a perfect example of how to take a great concept and totally waste it for people actually playing the game. By far the biggest issue in WOT is the unbalanced MM and I mean the massively disproportionate skill level of players where you end up on a team that can never win before the match has started, what is the point in that? All they need to do is once the 30 players have been chosen for the match, split them as equally as possible across both teams. Why is that so hard to do.

11:17 12:10 You did not spot the 183 because he was not back out far enough to show his spot dots and you just hit the tip of the tracks, and tracks don't count as damage blocked. As the wreck behind him did not get impacted either. He did not spot you that one time as you fired just as his sightlines went behind the wall. He spotted you when you both were in the open again. It's not more complicated than that.

an unappreciated stat but one that is important when you're a LT looking for support is Signal range, and the Brit LTs have tragic Signal range.
