- Kitzbühel, a beautiful city in the Austrian Tyrol, is a city of sports, but it is also worth visiting for a beautiful walk, sitting in local restaurants and cafes, enjoying the amazing panoramas of the Tyrolean Alps or swimming in the local Black Lake (Schwarzsee). 750 years old town is full of beautiful middle-class houses, which are beautifully decorated, painted and colorful. Even lovers of spending money will find their place in Kitzbühel... you are surrounded by luxury hotels in the city, you can buy all kinds of luxury things from watches, clothes to for cars of the most expensive brands.
Kitzbühel is one of the most famous Austrian winter sports centers. On the slopes of the Hahnenkamm mountain, the Alpine Skiing World Cup is held every year. In the summer, one of the ATP Generali Open tournaments is also held here. Since 1988, the Kitzbüheler Alpenrallye, a vintage car race, has also been held in the area.
Kitzbühel is a city in the Austrian Tyrol located on the Kitzbühler Ache river, at an altitude of 762 meters, between the mountain peaks Hahnenkamm (1712 m) and Kitzbüheler Horn (1996 m). It is also the administrative center of the Kitzbühel district.
Kitzbühel is just as beautiful in summer as it is in winter.
