The powder itself does smell like pine and gets a more bleachy scent when water is added. Original Comet is pine scented, but this smells much stronger straight in the can. Very fresh powdery pine in my opinion. Someone on Instagram described the scent to me before mine arrived. It's definitely pine powder in a can. If you love Comet, then this is the stronger/more piney scented version.

I loved the rinse & the faux rinse with homeline pine! Its actually a decent but lighter dupe to NF pinesol. It could be a bit cheaper lol the new GV Walmart pine blows it out of the water IMO. Have you tried it?
My only issue is i feel dish soap ruins the paste and the smell...😢 probably because im a thick paste kinda person and not a fluffy paste kinda person 😅
Have you ever done a only ds and powder paste? It turns out so thick & good! I absolutely love it!! Dont add any water or any liquid for that matter & if you use baking soda, bon ami, a plain powder laundry detergent or just something bleach free. Then you can do a alcohol rinse & O M G you'll thamk me later!
