at 38:58 , I believe that's a valid fear that Penn states. He mentions the old stigmas possibly coming out, and ,in my termanology,archaic thinking patterns some have toward us ADHDers (i'm type2ADHD) learning our separate coping mechanisms in order to function at our prime chosen level. However, i believe anyone holding those old beliefs need to realize that the more adhd, trauma,ptsd or autism spectrum people learn to use new coping skills and understand themselves better, the more our society as a whole will eventually get along better. "Know theyself" ,ya know? The more people share what works for them, in books,podcasts etc,and get the information out there, the closer we are as a society to a better understanding of each other as a whole. Just an observation (...side note: i am also big on feeding the wild birds,especially during winter. Over the years I've housed a chickadee nest and several robins and watched baby birds take their first flight. It's a spectacular feeling and everyone should experience that at least once in their lifetime.) They are a lovely couple. I hope you host them again sometime!
