And with England's 3421 or 352 off the ball, they choked the midfield, making it difficult for Spain to play through.

The reason why Rodri is the player of the tournament is his movement without the ball. Most countries try to mark him with a player because he detects the way the Spanish team plays. He then drag those midfielders, who were assigned to mark him into different places to creates spaces for Fabian Ruiz and the Spanish defenders in the central areas on the pitch, and make those assigned midfielders useless during the game.
Go and watch how Kante was missing in their game against Spain and how Foden too was missing in their game Spain.
Aside that, he made many interceptions and blocks that helped his team when they are not with the ball.
These are the reasons why Laporte, Fabian Ruiz, Dani Olmo had a good tournament
