I remember people complaining about mayonnaise on their hamburger bun and returning it to the kitchen. We just threw it on the flat top to toast up, and they always said it was delicious after they finished eating. 😂
People always say and do the dumbest things in restaurants. It was always lots of fun to find ways to fix a problem like this, basically demonstrating how stupid they are without telling them.😁

I commented the other day that I would love to see you make Navajo Tacos. Then on my way home from work I thought to myself, what it you made a Navajo taco smash burger? You could use two burger sized fry breads for buns, a smash burger with all the topping, refried beans, lettuce, tomato and a sour cream based sauce. You can probably come up with something better but this is just the basic idea. Anyway, love it or hate it, I would love to see your take on it. Much love.
Emeril got me inspired to cook. I used to watch Emeril Live every night.

I did something similar, but I put a cast iron skillet on the smoker and smashed the paddy on skillet.
I've been wanting to make this same burger for a while - got some good tip on my next bacon jam with the apricot. Just needs bourbon.

I use smoked skin off pork belly instead of bacon in the jam. Also I add worcestershire right into the burger mix. Great addition of maple syrup, I use bourbon instead of cider vinegar.
Love that you kept the spray bottle failing in the video. Back to basics, boys! That’s the stuff we like.

These all seem like good ideas. I like aged white cheddar, or Vermont creamery crumbled goat cheese for my burgers.

Smoking the burgers first makes a HUGE difference. If you have time, do it, it's fantastic.

Want to use a smoker for a burger? Smoke a 3/4 pound patty of chuck ground for about 2 hours at 250 to 275 degrees. Then sear it in both sides over flame or a skillet.

Sam, horizontal cuts on your onion are not necessary, the onion is already layered so the vertical cuts are sufficient to make small dices. I learn that from chef Jacques Pepin, he’s right it works and it save you time and your fingers. 😊

Bottom horizontal cut can still be necessary depending on the size of the onion
All that means is you had the money to open a place. It doesn't mean you know what you're doing, are a chef, nothing. He has money. Congrats. Means nothing.
Not sure how many videos people need to watch of Sam to realize he isn't a chef, still doesn't know what he's doing, is a tool. He just had the money to open a pretentious restaurant & pay actual chefs to make good food for him while he LARPs online.

As much as you love eggs, you really gotta try these deviled eggs. Even if you don't make a video of it, I'd love to hear your feed back on them.
Peanut Butter & Horseradish Deviled Eggs...
1 Part Cooked Egg Yolks
1/4 Part Peanut Butter
1/4 Part Horseradish Sauce (I know you like straight horseradish - not sure how much of that to use if you sub)
1/2 Part Mayo
Kosher Dill Pickle (small slices about the length of the egg and only about 1/4 - 1/3 inch wide)
Smoked Paprika
Sriracha Hot Sauce (or, in your case, you'll prolly use Cholula but the thicker Sriracha will present better for Max's photos)
Slice hard boiled eggs lengthwise and remove yolks.
Mash yolks with fork until fine.
Mix in Peanut Butter and Horseradish Sauce.
After PB and Horseradish are mixed…
Then GENTLY mix in Mayo. - Do not over mix or it will separate!!!!!!!!!!
Put mixture in eggs - I use a spoon for a rustic look. Yes Max, I push it off the spoon with my fingers...
Sprinkle with Smoked Paprika.
Add small slice of Kosher Dill Pickle on top of each.
Zigzag Sriracha Hot Sauce on top.

Don’t worry, I know who Emeril is! An early inspiration for cooking; for his cookware 20+ years ago and still using it daily today !
I made this, and it was FANTASTIC. Had to leave out the Adobo Sauce (cause my family are wimps with heat), and I also skipped the sprayer debacle...cause no one needs that. 🤣 Overall, if you have a pellet smoker and don't try this, your pellet smoker will be forceably removed from your domicile. Thanks, fellas!

Had a sprayer similar to this. Worked great for oil. Put some water in it, and it never sprayed again. Threw it away.

My brother worked at the Venetian. He saw a tie and moved it. Yeah it was Emerils tie. He came home from work and he was like today was not a good day I almost lost Chef Emeril's tie! Luckily I remembered where I moved it to. I had to laugh. Love Sam the Cooking Guy more.

Tomato Sauce
Alfredo Sauce
Diced Grilled Chicken
Mozzarella Cheese
Parmesan Cheese
Bacon Crumbles
Roasted Garlic
Ricotta Cheese
Red Pepper Flakes
Italian Seasoning
The way I do it is tomato sauce on the crust then Alfredo sauce on top of that diced grilled chicken, Mozzarella, Parmesan, crispy bacon crumbles, and chopped roasted garlic. I like to add red pepper flakes, dollops of ricotta, and Italian seasoning.

The smash burger has been tried and true since the 1800's. There are dedicated burger spots for it. This is like trying to bedazzle Liberace's jeans! The smash burger holds its own! If you want the best one do the Oklahoma variant! Still to this day the Oklahoma onion burger is the best one I have ever had!
Bacon Jam a real plus, candied jalapenos would put it over the top!
