I read his shiva trilogy books 7yrs back... what a story... By the end of the third book u would be possibly able to feel all the emotions of humans through the book... And the way he explains the infrastructure u could clearly able to see infront of ur eyes... And i got a lot of good messages throughout the books more valuable and some points made me reflect on my life.
The drug he spoke about @25:55 is thalidomide. It's long been considered as Category X drug (absolutely NOT to be used during PREGNANCY due to risk of phocomelia) but that drug & it's sister-drug Leflunomide are still in use in immunology/rheumatology and in some cancer treatments.
