Mama Shaqii’s accent came through so strong at the end lol! Y’all reaction was the exact same thing as mine. I almost tossed my iPad in frustration everything seemed to be laid out in front of them. I really had to sit and think on this all day. I wasn’t exactly in a situation/relationship like these two, but it wasn’t easy for me to confess my feelings either. And mine lasted for years on and off. Yes, years! When we finally had the conversation, I was ready to move on. However, I can’t say that I was as in love as Win and Team. Love is hella scary when it first hits you or so I’ve been told. It would’ve been great, and painful, for them to say I like you and then a cliffhanger. The wait already feels longer than the two week break. Oh, and Team’s parents already knowing and accepting: chef’s kiss.
Shaqii and his mama are back and also this episode just broke my heart because win and team are still lost on how they feel about each other and also their feelings are just literally on the top of their tongue except they don’t know who is going to open up the conversation about how they feel about each other and also when dean asked team if he had a boyfriend I said this is one thing I was afraid that was going to happen someone was going to ask him this question and team answer was that he didn’t I saw that win face looked like he was sad and heartbroken when he said that I said team why would you say that because win is head over heels in love with you and also the flashbacks of when dean and win having that conversation and then the whole locker room conversation of that win and team on what we’re they at that time and if team ever got bored and then he asked win what would happen and he said we will break up and then win pushes team down on the bed and told him you can be afraid of everything else in the world I’m ready for it but you can’t be afraid of me or the feelings I have for you man up that hit me right in the heart and also team told him I won’t run away from you but if I do you’ll have to catch me and also team crying and asking him what we’re they now and win he was trying his best to get the answer out is that it’s hard for a person to put it into words on how they feel about a person I know how it feels I have been through it three times already it’s on the tip of your tongue but you lose it and back away from on how you feel and also when team left with tears in his eyes and said thank you for the answer I said team I know you want the answer is that win needs time and you also need time to figure out the truth and answer cause you guys are drawn to each other and also win comforts team whenever he can even if it’s a kiss on the forehead or a pat on the head or a hug he will always be there but the other couples they are happy and doing well and the ending just left me confused and in tears because win and team were crying I said they have to fix everything because win team ship can’t sink or fall apart I’m ready for that and also they love each other I said great now have to wait with a broken heart and anxiety killing me for a whole week because in the next episode they are still with tears in their eyes and talking things out and also wan passed out he’s probably tired and burned out also they have to work this out they’re having more bedroom scenes than others honestly this is confusing and stressful

Oof...give it up for the friends giving Team advice and they are right. Team is at the stage of being in love with Win. Although Mixed feelings and not clearing things up is an issue with both of them. When Dean asked Team if he has a boyfriend, he answered no. That look on Win's face looked like he was shocked or just hurt maybe? But then again, no one established that role though. They are "technically" still single. The thing is..they just go for physical intimacy instead of talking about their level of relationship. At this rate, it shouldn't matter who confesses first but I guess Team wanted to know if Win is on the same page of actually.."being together" and not just physically...Again...both of them need to TALK and stop stressing! Too much pride that they don't want to be vulnerable about their feelings...
for me, the main point was the “hesitation” as in the beginning of that scene, Win was telling Team to “man up” own up with his words but then when Team asked Win, he hesitated and is not confident to tell Team that he loves him. But I can understand where is Win coming from bec he is afraid of confrontations

Win and Team drove me nuts this episode. They had a chance to say what they wanted to say but NOOOO Team left without letting Win finish and Win let him leave.
After watching this again I think maybe Win was going to tell Team his feelings when they were by the river but he lost his confidence because Team ran away. It’s very frustrating but I’m hoping they will clearly say their feeing at the beginning of ep 11. 😭
I understand the disappointment too bec it was a series from another series and we have expected that this was the same scene as before and in that they made up, it ended happily and I think it was one of their last couple scenes in UWMA but in here it didnt end well, there is something more or the director and writer added more into it. maybe bec they wanted to end it well? and even on twitter, the director is telling that we should trust the process and he did it to make everything make sense 🫣

I AGREE that it's slow BUT One thing that I am so glad that they are showing that their actions show that they are much in LOVE. By being there for one another and leaning on one another. I know it's very very stretchy BUT I despise the dramas that have the couple get together early so they can break up and then a "YEAR" get back TOGETHER. You know what I totally agree, I love the slow burn and hate the break up get back together after a long time apart. I just don't like when they wait for the last episode to have them be a couple. I want at least one episode of them being together and living their best lives.

Script writing is seriously so lazy, ep 10 and we still at the same point storyline and characters wise than the episode 2 (and we know thx to the preview that they gonna serve us the "you just do that with everyone " line again in ep11, so basically having only relationship growth in the Last 2 episodes) And no to me it is not OK, they had 3 years to write this script, this serie was highly anticipated, waiting 3 years for it, Win being my favorite BL character, for what? A script for the "lead" that could have fit in 3 episode, 4 side couples... they even made Bee and Prince more exciting, even tho one of their best scene was a copy/paste of a My Only 12% scene (same company show released a couple months ago). Winteam deserved way better, feel like the company said "its BounPrem/WinTeam, they gonna love it anyway, they won t dare saying anything bad about the serie, we don t have to work to much on it"
Yeah i too feel that script was stretchy but then on second thought i liked the storyline bcz it feels realistic. Team & win both have their own reasons & insecurities which is pulling them back. Win feels nothing will stay with him forever so he is afraid that if he get Serious In this relationship and team is not ready then he will lose him. Same goes with team that he thinks win is with him only bcz of physical love & win doesn't want relationship. Considering how they both started which was only for physical needs & no feelings involved...these type of relations are bound to have doubts, insecurities , questions before they turn into real ones nourished with love & not just physical intimacy. Also i like this series bcz of manaow bcz i loved her in UWMA so i wanted her to have her own brief lovestory. Though it was slow paced for winteam but i think i would have ruined the storyline if they had fast forwarded it. It is as it should be. The fear, insecurities, commitment problems , all these can't be summed in 3 episodes. right? Bcz in real life people do have this & when a person fights with his mind & heart for his feelings ....it takes time.
@SS_642 that was not my point tho... first of all script can not be stretchy, that the story development that can be, once again not my concern. Slow pace development can be amazing when the script is well written (my only 12%). My problem here is with the script and the laziness of it, repeating the same exact scene in 3 different episodes. And about life I had my fair share, I know how things work...

They repeated the same scene as you said in 3 different episodes its Bcz thats the only issue they both have in their relationship. They are just afraid to face it or contront it. Win team doesn't have it like slow pace feeling development ... Bcz it already happened ...they already developed the feeling for each other. Its just that they have their doubts, fear, insecurities in their minds which they both don't clear out. They just need an clear communication but their characters are so much overthinking over it that fear rejection, commitment, losing each other if feelings not reciprocated .... Bcz it complicated specially in those relations which starts off just for physical needs. They do come back to the same problem bcz they do not address that. & such characters do exists in real life too. Thats why i said its realistic. As in next episode they actually first time seriously talked it out keeping their insecurities aside. & it is all ok if you don't like this series but I guess it suits my taste bcz i'm not a very big fan of those scripts with betrayal, heartbreak, cheating, separation , misunderstandings , fights etc type of series. I like those shows more whcih looks realistic, actors have good chemistry, & i can connect with that storyline in real life.
@@SS_642 You don t need to explain to me the psychology behind it.... a good script writing would pass on the same message of being "stuck" by showing different aspects because humans are not robots and are more complex and writing the same scene 3 times to show the same emotion, same reaction is just lazy, they had a zillion other ways to share with the viewers their feelings and fears, script is just plain and lazy, and this do not serve the actors either as they can t fully showcase their acting skills. For example, let s go back to the excellent script writing of My Only 12%, Prem despite having little screentime, can showcase way more acting skills.

Thats why i tried to share my pov over the complaints you have on the show. Its just exchanging povs & opinions ...nothing to be rude about. Moreover i treat every show differently & judge it on different basis as in it's genre, content, chemistry between actors, storyline & plot, script etc.... If the series lacks in one aspect i look at it if other aspects can balance it out or not. Thats why i try to never compare 2 series bcz as you said humans are complex.... Same goes with the characters too. They are not same character so their way of dealing things can be different too. Two shows with different storyline & different character sketch can't be judged on the same plate. Though the script is not the best but this series made sense to me bcz i understood the characters & their feelings by stepping into their shoes. The emotions and feelings these characters offered made sense to me.
With the dragging part, im 50/50 about it bec yeah if you see it on Team’s perspective, yeah its a bit dragging bec most of the issues from most of the episodes were team’s issues but if you see it on Win’s perspective his own issues is only beginning bec Us viewers were aware why he is like that, but Team doesnt know anything, yeah he experienced getting ghosted by Win but that is it, Win jusy assured Team that he wont do it again but he didny explain why and Maybe that is the poiny why the ending of episode 10 is like that. And for me, the preview for episode 11 is giving that vibes, the vibe where Win will finally explain to Team why he is hesitating and will be assuring that he loves him its just that he has his own issues when it comes to love.
This series has been SUCH a let down honestly. I'm a huge fan of BounPrem and was so excited for Between Us but they have really been let down by the writing, editing and direction in this show. You don't end an episode in the middle of a conversation! It's lazy writing and cheap, we are already invested in this couple or we wouldn't be here, you don't need to create drama where there isn't any! Months have passed in the story but we have had no progression for 5 solid episodes, its infuriating. What a mess.
I think I get Team I just don't get Win. Team for now is dependent on Win for so much emotionally. Win helps him with his insomnia and his past problems, he is always there as a shoulder to lean/cry on and is his literal savior. Team is scared to confess and mess this up and lose all that Win has been for him. I'm not sure what Win's issue is, he has only mentioned feeling like he isn't good enough to keep Team and being scared to lose him.
I think i get win. Win have never let anyone be important to him bcz he thinks that nothing will stay with him forever thats why he fears that if he get too serious about this relationship then he would get hurt in future if team doesn't want this relationship Thats why he asked team if he gets serious then would team promise to not run away from him. Bcz win feels that team is not ready for this relationship. Considering it is his first serious try in the relationship he is just afraid to Give commitment. At the end both love each other, both Are afraid to lose each other, both fears to confront & afraid that they might get rejection from the other....

technically the conversation was never had and when Team was obviously upset, the first thing Win did was try to have ses to avoid the conversation. I got at least give it to Team for not falling for it and instead asking Win outright...what is this...I can't even get mad at Team for not waiting for Win to once again hedge. And Win...after ALLL the convesations about love from Dean and Tul...Win never ask Team to date or be BFs. TBH...I enjoy Boun/Prem together, but so far this entire series and this plotline has been dragged along too long at the detriment of what made me love Win/Team in UWMA. I still love them, but TBH, my fav scenes of this ep was non Win/Team. Things I enjoyed: 1. Pruek (minus Minaow...UGH I know this is a BL, but we needed more of Sammy as Minaow ) talking about Minaow. I wish we could have seen more of Preuk/Minauw 2. Dean/Pharm, UWMA was my first real foray into BL and so Ohm/Fluke hold a lasting place in my BL-loving heart. They will be my forever ship for sure...LOL. My love for the Boun/Prem pairing is because of UWMA, so any scene with Dean/Pharm involved I will love 3. Best Friendship Trio in BL - As much as I love Dean/Pharm, In/Korn and Win/Team in UWMA by absolute favorite non-ship part of it is the ride or die friendship between Pharm, Minaow and Team. 4. Waan/Tul - Ok, as much as I consider Bea/Prince just filler, I am totally invested in Waan/Tul and I wish they had more screen time than Bea/Prince. TBH I could totally do without any of the Bea/Prince stuff in lieu of more Waan/Tul Anyway, overall I'm a bit disappointed about the series, but hey I love the UWMA world enough to stick beside it all. Two more eps to go..

Question, am I the only one who thinks that when they do a kissing scene that Team always looks like he's in pain? I know the up-and-down feelings of Win is really bothering Team but when they have these intimate moments team always looks like he's getting blood drawn like he would rather be somewhere else. I know that every series is different and every character is different but I think maybe because we have waited so long to get this series that maybe my expectations were high. I'm not sure about the series and we are now on episode 10.

I disagree. This series is not great. There are too many instances where the dialogue doesn't match the original scene in UWMA. The way this story has dragged out is not necessary, and makes the show problematic to the point that these two don't have a standalone story worth watching. The characters, in truth, are disappointing. Honestly, for all the hype and waiting for Between Us, it has failed to have anywhere near the quality of writing or story telling of Until We Meet Again.
I can forgive the difference to UWMA in their story. They did explain that at the time of filming UWMA the novel Hemp Rope was not complete, so what you see of them in UWMA was made up by the script writers and not from the Author of the novel. Now that the novel is complete they had to revise some scenes to match more closely to what happened in the novel. Just like in the novel they did drag out the confession until the end. Where the novel does it better is it makes you understand why Team can't differentiate whether he is special to Win, because in the novel they actually had scenes of Win being very friendly with everyone which caused Team to be jealous. They don't show that in the series, and series Win comes across as very serious and standoffish so it makes us confused with Team saying Win treats everyone special and he doesn't know if he is a different special for him. I don't see how they didn't see this was going to be an issue. We the audience don't see what Team is talking about, we only see Win treating him special and even Dean said so. Of course we would look at Team like he is crazy for not seeing how much Win loves him. That is what is causing this unnecessary feeling of drag, because it's plain to us. In the novel it wasn't so plain for Team because Win always treated all the other swim juniors to dinner or drinks etc. So Team needed to get a verbal confession from Win to believe he was that special person. In the series it just doesn't connect, they fell short there and I don't know why because they had 3 years to make this epic.

I swear win and team are stressing me the fuck out!!! why can't they just say what they feel and not give me whiplash every episode!!!!? i swear to God! on a lighter note i really loved your reaction and you guys said exactly what i thought! i mean even prince and bee are further along than these two. Someone need to just slap team or win over the head or something oooooi! i'm so frustrated and angry right now.
I AGREE that it's slow BUT One thing that I am so glad that they are showing that their actions show that they are much in LOVE. By being there for one another and leaning on one another. I know it's very very stretchy BUT I despise the dramas that have the couple get together early so they can break up and then a "YEAR" get back TOGETHER.
SOOOOO MAYBE this will make their LOVE BECOME AND LET THEM SHOW IT STRONGER.

You know what I totally agree, I love the slow burn and hate the break up get back together after a long time apart. I just don't like when they wait for the last episode to have them be a couple. I want at least one episode of them being together and living their best lives.

Script writing is seriously so lazy, ep 10 and we still at the same point storyline and characters wise than the episode 2 (and we know thx to the preview that they gonna serve us the "you just do that with everyone " line again in ep11, so basically having only relationship growth in the Last 2 episodes)
And no to me it is not OK, they had 3 years to write this script, this serie was highly anticipated, waiting 3 years for it, Win being my favorite BL character, for what? A script for the "lead" that could have fit in 3 episode, 4 side couples... they even made Bee and Prince more exciting, even tho one of their best scene was a copy/paste of a My Only 12% scene (same company show released a couple months ago). Winteam deserved way better, feel like the company said "its BounPrem/WinTeam, they gonna love it anyway, they won t dare saying anything bad about the serie, we don t have to work to much on it"
Yeah i too feel that script was stretchy but then on second thought i liked the storyline bcz it feels realistic.
Team & win both have their own reasons & insecurities which is pulling them back. Win feels nothing will stay with him forever so he is afraid that if he get Serious In this relationship and team is not ready then he will lose him. Same goes with team that he thinks win is with him only bcz of physical love & win doesn't want relationship.
Considering how they both started which was only for physical needs & no feelings involved...these type of relations are bound to have doubts, insecurities , questions before they turn into real ones nourished with love & not just physical intimacy.
Also i like this series bcz of manaow bcz i loved her in UWMA so i wanted her to have her own brief lovestory.
Though it was slow paced for winteam but i think i would have ruined the storyline if they had fast forwarded it. It is as it should be. The fear, insecurities, commitment problems , all these can't be summed in 3 episodes. right?
Bcz in real life people do have this & when a person fights with his mind & heart for his feelings ....it takes time.
@SS_642 that was not my point tho... first of all script can not be stretchy, that the story development that can be, once again not my concern. Slow pace development can be amazing when the script is well written (my only 12%). My problem here is with the script and the laziness of it, repeating the same exact scene in 3 different episodes. And about life I had my fair share, I know how things work...

They repeated the same scene as you said in 3 different episodes its Bcz thats the only issue they both have in their relationship. They are just afraid to face it or contront it. Win team doesn't have it like slow pace feeling development ... Bcz it already happened ...they already developed the feeling for each other. Its just that they have their doubts, fear, insecurities in their minds which they both don't clear out. They just need an clear communication but their characters are so much overthinking over it that fear rejection, commitment, losing each other if feelings not reciprocated .... Bcz it complicated specially in those relations which starts off just for physical needs. They do come back to the same problem bcz they do not address that. & such characters do exists in real life too. Thats why i said its realistic. As in next episode they actually first time seriously talked it out keeping their insecurities aside. & it is all ok if you don't like this series but I guess it suits my taste bcz i'm not a very big fan of those scripts with betrayal, heartbreak, cheating, separation , misunderstandings , fights etc type of series. I like those shows more whcih looks realistic, actors have good chemistry, & i can connect with that storyline in real life.
@@SS_642 You don t need to explain to me the psychology behind it.... a good script writing would pass on the same message of being "stuck" by showing different aspects because humans are not robots and are more complex and writing the same scene 3 times to show the same emotion, same reaction is just lazy, they had a zillion other ways to share with the viewers their feelings and fears, script is just plain and lazy, and this do not serve the actors either as they can t fully showcase their acting skills. For example, let s go back to the excellent script writing of My Only 12%, Prem despite having little screentime, can showcase way more acting skills.
@@2222titia right ... Humans are not robots and are more complex... Thats why everyone have their different pov & different way of looking & understanding things too. Thats why i tried to share my pov over the complaints you have on the show. Its just exchanging povs & opinions ...nothing to be rude about.
Moreover i treat every show differently & judge it on different basis as in it's genre, content, chemistry between actors, storyline & plot, script etc.... If the series lacks in one aspect i look at it if other aspects can balance it out or not. Thats why i try to never compare 2 series bcz as you said humans are complex.... Same goes with the characters too. They are not same character so their way of dealing things can be different too. Two shows with different storyline & different character sketch can't be judged on the same plate. Though the script is not the best but this series made sense to me bcz i understood the characters & their feelings by stepping into their shoes. The emotions and feelings these characters offered made sense to me.
With the dragging part, im 50/50 about it bec yeah if you see it on Team’s perspective, yeah its a bit dragging bec most of the issues from most of the episodes were team’s issues but if you see it on Win’s perspective his own issues is only beginning bec Us viewers were aware why he is like that, but Team doesnt know anything, yeah he experienced getting ghosted by Win but that is it, Win jusy assured Team that he wont do it again but he didny explain why and Maybe that is the poiny why the ending of episode 10 is like that. And for me, the preview for episode 11 is giving that vibes, the vibe where Win will finally explain to Team why he is hesitating and will be assuring that he loves him its just that he has his own issues when it comes to love.
This series has been SUCH a let down honestly. I'm a huge fan of BounPrem and was so excited for Between Us but they have really been let down by the writing, editing and direction in this show. You don't end an episode in the middle of a conversation! It's lazy writing and cheap, we are already invested in this couple or we wouldn't be here, you don't need to create drama where there isn't any! Months have passed in the story but we have had no progression for 5 solid episodes, its infuriating. What a mess.
I think I get Team I just don't get Win. Team for now is dependent on Win for so much emotionally. Win helps him with his insomnia and his past problems, he is always there as a shoulder to lean/cry on and is his literal savior. Team is scared to confess and mess this up and lose all that Win has been for him. I'm not sure what Win's issue is, he has only mentioned feeling like he isn't good enough to keep Team and being scared to lose him.
I think i get win. Win have never let anyone be important to him bcz he thinks that nothing will stay with him forever thats why he fears that if he get too serious about this relationship then he would get hurt in future if team doesn't want this relationship Thats why he asked team if he gets serious then would team promise to not run away from him. Bcz win feels that team is not ready for this relationship. Considering it is his first serious try in the relationship he is just afraid to Give commitment.
At the end both love each other, both Are afraid to lose each other, both fears to confront & afraid that they might get rejection from the other....

technically the conversation was never had and when Team was obviously upset, the first thing Win did was try to have ses to avoid the conversation. I got at least give it to Team for not falling for it and instead asking Win outright...what is this...I can't even get mad at Team for not waiting for Win to once again hedge. And Win...after ALLL the convesations about love from Dean and Tul...Win never ask Team to date or be BFs.
TBH...I enjoy Boun/Prem together, but so far this entire series and this plotline has been dragged along too long at the detriment of what made me love Win/Team in UWMA. I still love them, but TBH, my fav scenes of this ep was non Win/Team. Things I enjoyed:
1. Pruek (minus Minaow...UGH I know this is a BL, but we needed more of Sammy as Minaow ) talking about Minaow. I wish we could have seen more of Preuk/Minauw
2. Dean/Pharm, UWMA was my first real foray into BL and so Ohm/Fluke hold a lasting place in my BL-loving heart. They will be my forever ship for sure...LOL. My love for the Boun/Prem pairing is because of UWMA, so any scene with Dean/Pharm involved I will love
3. Best Friendship Trio in BL - As much as I love Dean/Pharm, In/Korn and Win/Team in UWMA by absolute favorite non-ship part of it is the ride or die friendship between Pharm, Minaow and Team.
4. Waan/Tul - Ok, as much as I consider Bea/Prince just filler, I am totally invested in Waan/Tul and I wish they had more screen time than Bea/Prince. TBH I could totally do without any of the Bea/Prince stuff in lieu of more Waan/Tul
Anyway, overall I'm a bit disappointed about the series, but hey I love the UWMA world enough to stick beside it all.

Question, am I the only one who thinks that when they do a kissing scene that Team always looks like he's in pain? I know the up-and-down feelings of Win is really bothering Team but when they have these intimate moments team always looks like he's getting blood drawn like he would rather be somewhere else. I know that every series is different and every character is different but I think maybe because we have waited so long to get this series that maybe my expectations were high. I'm not sure about the series and we are now on episode 10.
i know i see them kissing everytime team looks really not into it can help to compering with love in the air now they know how to kiss both of them

He kissed VERY passionately and even made “uhmmm” sounds like no I don’t understand how you can say every time :b

I disagree. This series is not great. There are too many instances where the dialogue doesn't match the original scene in UWMA. The way this story has dragged out is not necessary, and makes the show problematic to the point that these two don't have a standalone story worth watching. The characters, in truth, are disappointing. Honestly, for all the hype and waiting for Between Us, it has failed to have anywhere near the quality of writing or story telling of Until We Meet Again.
I can forgive the difference to UWMA in their story. They did explain that at the time of filming UWMA the novel Hemp Rope was not complete, so what you see of them in UWMA was made up by the script writers and not from the Author of the novel. Now that the novel is complete they had to revise some scenes to match more closely to what happened in the novel. Just like in the novel they did drag out the confession until the end. Where the novel does it better is it makes you understand why Team can't differentiate whether he is special to Win, because in the novel they actually had scenes of Win being very friendly with everyone which caused Team to be jealous. They don't show that in the series, and series Win comes across as very serious and standoffish so it makes us confused with Team saying Win treats everyone special and he doesn't know if he is a different special for him. I don't see how they didn't see this was going to be an issue. We the audience don't see what Team is talking about, we only see Win treating him special and even Dean said so. Of course we would look at Team like he is crazy for not seeing how much Win loves him. That is what is causing this unnecessary feeling of drag, because it's plain to us. In the novel it wasn't so plain for Team because Win always treated all the other swim juniors to dinner or drinks etc. So Team needed to get a verbal confession from Win to believe he was that special person. In the series it just doesn't connect, they fell short there and I don't know why because they had 3 years to make this epic.
Team is upsetting me because clearly win is trying his best to express his feelings he even told dean he's finally ready 🤦♀️
