very nice explanation . But a small doubt , which option would be better to choose? AV zone or AV set ? as it allows to choose only one option when building VM's .

Thanks for this video, here i have h question.
If we only have taken availability zone option in our environment, So if any unplanned maintenance going to conduct at that time, will all VMs running in one rack continue running through another DC.
I am simply asking if i have chosen Availability zone option, so is it require to have availability set with it or not ?

does azure automatically creates copy of vm's and place them in different update domains or it just place the vm's which we create?
nice video, is availability sets further backed up by zone or region ?, what happens if all sets (racks) goes down - natural disaster...
If by chance all will goes down then obviously nothing will work if availability set is configured
I have two question related to Fault Domain and Update Domain......Plz reply
Q.1 I have 10VM It should be available at least 3VM in any time so how many fault domain you can put and how many update domain you can put.
Q.2 Supposed I have created the one VM and I have selected 2 Fault domain and 6 Update Domain so what is the scenario for that so it will be created 6VM in two rack or something else

Sir , Why there is a need of creating 5 Update domains . 2 update domains could be shared across 2 fault domains equally .That means one update domain in one fault domain , second update domain in second fault domain. If incase the fault domain 1 goes down - we can access the second update domain from fault domain 2 right ?
So my point is what's the use of remaining 3 update domains ? why these 3 can be distributed among 2 fault domains when we get this job done with 2 update domains.
See microsoft azure has given that feature for the availability of the vms by providing fault and update domain with minimum and maximum limit....u can choose the limit as per best practise base.

Sandeep hasnt give proper explanation..Also when you created a VM1 and place in two FD...VM1 will be in FD1-0 UD0 & another VM with same name and config will be created automatically in FD2-1 UD1.
didnt understand..explanation not clear.
Just to make sure in case of we have created one virtual machine chosen availability set and we have three fault domains will it create three copies of virtual machine in each fault domains automatically or it will be just one VM in one fault domain and that will be affexted
