The saddest thing in the world is that i live in this stupid small country Serbia in Europe and i don't know English that well to be reading books in English. And the publishers here, in Serbia, won't translate these amazing books. I love reading and it makes me so sad that i will never get to read so many amazing stories like this one....

She does a fantastic job with world-building and character arcs. I feel like there are no real side characters either, because everyone is so well developed I have strong feeling about every single character-- which doesn't happen often!

Though I did start off my Sarah J Maas journey with Throne of Glass, my heart is with ACoTaR. I can relate to Feyre so much. As someone with PTSD, it meant a lot to me, to have a character like Feyre. Get to read what she was going through and how she handled it. Defiantly means a lot to me!

I found this really interesting as in just a way to see how other readers pictured the characters, for example I pictured Feyre as much more of a Katniss from the hunger games looking person. Darker hair, darker eyes, And her magic being a more Avatar: The last airbender as far as design. It's just fascinating to me to visually see what other people envision these characters to be
I also love to see how others picture characters! it's so interesting how we all form such different pictures based on the same words. for Feyre, I really clung to that description of her hair in acotar as "brassy"--so I see this very reddish/dark blond for her. (her hair will actually be a bit darker than this when she's finished, but still very blond). It's pretty unusual for me to even visualize characters so clearly. Sarah's writing just really comes alive for me.
You totally need to find a way to sell the art you made in the book! I underline all my favorite quotes but I'm not nearly artistic enough to express the beauty in them and you did it so well!!!

There was a mix up with the pre-order system so I ended up being number 366 and had to go home to drop my mom to work that night. It was so sad. But I did have a good time there.

Thank you so much! I swear by Prismacolor. They're wax-based, so you do have to be careful when layering, because after a while the wax will build up so much that you start scratching color away. but the key is to layer lightly and don't blend with a heavy hand until the end. You can also use odorless paint thinner which essentially turns them into a watercolor pencil. It blends everything together and allows you to keep adding layers
Lol as I was watching this I picked up my act practice guide because I drew the mural of eyes in it when I was bored after I finished the reading section then I saw it in this and almost died of laughter

Thank you! I use Prismacolor and definitely recommend them over other brands, but everyone has their preferences. Another good brand is Faber-Castell if you want to test them both :)

Lol as I was watching this I picked up my act practice guide because I drew the mural of eyes in it when I was bored after I finished the reading section then I saw it in this and almost died of laughter

Thank you! I use Prismacolor and definitely recommend them over other brands, but everyone has their preferences. Another good brand is Faber-Castell if you want to test them both :)

Your artwork is reaaaally beautiful ! I do like to draw, but I'm not that good yet (I'm still trapped in black and white drawings) but I would like to ask you, what kind of pencils are those? they are regular color pencils or they are a different type, like aquarellas or something?
Lucía Canali I think they may have been prisma colours or Faber castell polychromos. Correct me if I'm wrong x
I think they may be. I really have so little expirience with color pencils. :B
