Much better than the original. Im a drummer but decided to learn EG just to fill it up and this sounds a lot better than what I’ve seen with that metal slider which sounds cheap and lazy lol This is much better to learn
Real quick, how do you play that pre-chorus? We’re doing this song at the 11am service! 😂 JK! But seriously it sounds awesome, I know you said dotted 1/8, but I still need a breakdown….PLEASE!
We’re doing this song this week and I don’t like the original guitar parts AT ALL so thanks for the inspiration to do something different. I was really just thinking of leaning on my own style and now I’m just gonna go for it!
This sounds great! We're doing this song on Sunday, and I'd like to add some of this. Do you by any chance have tabs for any of this! I'm going to find time to sit down and learn some of this by ear, but tabs would be super helpful if available.
Thanks for the always good videos. When I make the sound of stacking drive pedals on a typical Stratocaster guitar (acturally, Fender), it generates quite a bit of noise. I wonder if there are any issues like this, and how to manage them if there are!
I would make sure my power is clean. Usually, if your power source isn’t providing a clean source of power, there will be noise in your chain. Also, if you are using certain power sources like the Voodoo lab power sources, and you have pedals that sit on top of it, then it creates some sort of magnetic field that will also generate noise. I would make sure that you have a good power source like the strymon Zuma. Also, if you are plugging into a power source that also has lights plugged into it, then you will have noise. Also, quality cabling is a must. I would stay away from solder-less cables and generic patch cables.
@@IvanXavier Thank you very much for your sincere reply. Every time I watch your video, I marvel at the sound and performance that allows the congregation to focus more deeply on worship. I also want to become a worshiper in that role, but it is difficult because I have no practical help. Your comment has been very helpful. Again, thank you very much.
Hey, I came and saw you guys do this song at the CMN conference, and when I heard glorious day X I thank god I’ve been tryna find a way to do it ever sense I heard u guys pull it off perfectly! Is there anyway u guys have tracks or anything for this version?
Thanks so much man! Everything is stock on my falcon except for the bridge. The original bridge was a bar bridge and I swapped it out for the Adjustomatic for better intonation.
Que tal amigo! Mis IEM's son de 64 Audio. Son 8 drivers. Para mis ampli's estoy usando el Hx Stomp so entro directo al Hx Stomp de mi pedeladera y despues directo a front of house. Gracias por tu apoyo!
That spicy moment at 1:53 worked so well 🤣

1:46 was so filthy 😮💨

Thanks for watching! I unfortunately don't have any tabs for this. I came up with my own parts so by ear is how I did it.
🔥🔥
MY GOSH these presets/tones are FANTASTIC. do you have a preset/breakdown somewhere I could look at?
Thank you! I currently don't have those resources available but that's something I hope to get out to everyone in the future!
❤️❤️❤️
This is Amazing! We're going to sing this next week and I'm preparing. May I know the drive (combo) you are using on this song? Sounds so tight.
Thanks for watching! Im using a combination between the OCD, Prince of Tone, and The Dude.
Is there a name for the thingy you did 0:49
Im not sure what you are asking. Are you talking about the effects I used on the pre-chorus or what I'm playing?
What you’re playing?
Yes, I need a tutorial too! One without effects and then explain the delay, please🙏
Im just single picking the chord with a dotted 8th delay which is what gives it that effect.
Dotted 8th delay, short spring reverb, and my first stage drive.
Thanks for the always good videos.

Care to share your HX Patch? Lovely tone!
Thank you! I am using David Hislop's Bethel Amps patch. You can purchase it on his website!
Bro, what is that delay on the pre chorus!?!? 💯🔥
If I remember correctly, Its a dotted 8th digital delay.
Are you using a dotted 8 delay in the pre chorus?
Yes!
That tone is 🔥 are those stock Gretsch Filtertron pickups???
Thanks so much man! Everything is stock on my falcon except for the bridge. The original bridge was a bar bridge and I swapped it out for the Adjustomatic for better intonation.

This Dude has a hat on In God’s house. Huge disrespect from him. Shows you how little the church cares about God and more about the show!!!!
😂😂😂
Fantastic guitar work. But some of the worst vocals I've heard lol (the female singer was good though).
Dude, so clean. Can you share what your delay settings look like for the prechorus?
