You don’t have to practice one of the organized religions to be full of hope. I’m glad that Christianity works for Guthrie. I was thinking that it doesn’t really matter if your faith is in something real. If faith provides a workable framework for your life that provides you with comfort and hope as well has helping you be a principled person, what does it matter if there’s “scientific proof”?
Fair enough. I don't care that a large part of their lives revolves around a supernatural being as long as I don't have to hear about it and they aren't forcing it on anyone. That said, I'd prefer people use critical thinking and be rational and truthful. It becomes a problem when our politicians try to use religion to make laws and control people. Regards from Indiana - we have LOTS of religion! LOL!

Savannah says her faith is her "cornerstone" yet she's pro-abortion and pro-LGBT. But it's not my place to judge just make an observation. I had to edit this comment to make another observation. Edit: Savannah says "mostly what God does is love you." That's an interesting statement considering in scripture you won't find one instance where the apostles of Jesus ever preached this message. Instead, the apostles preached Jesus and his sacrifice for us.

We can know for sure if God is real!! Jesus came for that purpose. Jesus came to reveal his Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus showed and shared proof that He is God, 1 God 3 persons. He chose to suffer and die to open heaven for us. He was the promised savior that was promised. So, we can know God exists, loves us, and is real in the person of Jesus Christ. We need to educate ourselves:)
