I am enjoying this series. I never had seen it before. It is a delight to see a pair of police officers......different upbrings....class and yet become caring for the welfare of one another. Thanks for the download.
Love these eighties crime series. Crowded, rather unappealing main offices in which everyone is working in claustrophobic cramped spaces. (As opposed to the modern streamlined spacious offices). No computers. Everyone smokes like a chimney. No cell phones (gasp!). And, let’s face it, plot-wise: why does the undercover agent in these shows who KNOWS he has minutes to live provide the cops with cryptic clues? Come on! Just say the Duke of Cumberland pub rather than “the man in the red coat”? I know this is TVLand and this plot device adds to the pursuit of the clues but … really! Anyhoo, great fun. And I am so glad that they ended up marrying in real life and have been since 1989.

Oh! And far too much music tracking the characters. They don’t do that anymore.
