These are MY old stomping grounds! I lived just off Linder Road. We often are at the Hungry Onion and my first Bank account was at the Farmers & Merchants Bank. I bought this Movie for just a hat reason. Oh the memories. THANK You for the Then & Now.

My dad s a huge Clint Eastwood fan. My first introduction was Paint Your Wagon, Every hitch Way but, loose, and my childhood favorite. Bronco Billy. I could watch this at least twenty times. I loved him so much..

I lived in Ontario, Oregon when this was made. It was the talk of the town! By the way, the hill / mountain in the background of the first scene overlooking the Snake River is known as Malheur Butte. It sits between Vale and Ontario, Oregon.

I've always liked this movie and watch it whenever the occasion arises. Don't like how Clint treated his girlfriend in later life, but I guess that's life in the big city. Thank you for doing this.

Thanks for this video. Bronco Billy is actually my favorite Clint Eastwood film. There is just something fun about watching it. Good story, great characters and great pacing; not to mention all those amazing scenic locations.
One of the funnier scenes is when Billy, Doc and Miss Lily are in the cab of the truck and you hear Merle Haggard and Clint Eastwood on the radio singing Bar Room Buddies.
I've often wonder whatever happened to the American flag tent shown at the end.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who views Bronco Billy as a favorite Eastwood film. I've seem them all, and really like them all. But Bronco Billy is special.

What a lot of fun! Thank you for sharing the memories! I was six when this was filmed - part of it was on my street - Artesian Road off Linder. I was too young to go down and watch the crew but I believe my older siblings went and said Mr. Eastwood was a nice guy.

I lived in Meridian at the time and I remember my mom bringing me down to see Eastwood, he was signing autographs and mom got a picture of him. I need to find that picture but have no idea where it could be

Great video, I attended Mountain Cove back in 2003-05, and they said Clint Eastwood signed his name in one of the rooms at the very top of the building 👍🏽

That was fun. As a Boise native resident, it's neat to see a little bit of Hollywood touch the area.

Just saw this movie, a movie from my birth year. I liked it, it's not one of Clint's high fliers but the cast is great and Sondra Locke is very easy on the eyes. Each time I watch a movie I check out the cast on IMDB as I was only familiar with Clint and Sondra (and I was familiar with Bill McKinney from other Eastwood movies). But it saddened me to realize almost all of the circus crew from the movie have passed away with only Clint and Sierra Pecheur (Running Water) still living. Time flies by fast....too fast.

Nice video thanks. I think Bronco Billy is a great movie. I love it when Clint Eastwood gets mad when driving and punches the car horn. I had an Uncle that did the same thing. I laugh to myself when I watch that scene.

I am enduring covid by binging on Clint Eastwood movies. Today I watched Bronco Billy so I searched youtube for any videos on filming locations. This was a fantastic video to watch along side the move. You did a terrific, masterful job searching, locating, filming all of the locations, and creating a video. Thanks so very much!

I had a speaking part in the Bronco Billy movie! I could be seen buying a newspaper in the movie in Eagle Idaho. when the man ( Gary Long) in the cowboy hat, was opening the newspaper box said "excuse me miss" when Bronco Billy's girlfriend, Miss Lilly tried to steal a news paper with the headline "Heiress Kidnapped"!

I don't know why they had the Sheriff's office in Nampa when Caldwell is the County seat where the Sheriff's office is. BTW, that mountain by the train tracks is Cinder Cone Butte and it's in the Orchard Training Area where the Idaho National Guard trains. The Ranch Club is now a gay bar and the Dutch Goose has changed names too. I have never been in there but I heard a rumour that the hole that Lefty put in the drywall with his hook was left as a memento. If anyone is curious, one of the posters used in the movie for the Bronco Billy Wild West Show is hanging in a thrift shop in Boise called The Bench Commission. It isn't for sale though.

good video subject. I loved this film also. sometime i will get to those film locations. I'm a film & TV production location fan. I have several famous film location video posted at my you tube account. please review and comment back. I have been in Da Biz since '86 in front and behind the camera. Another similar film and subject matter that came out around the same time, but shot in the Los Angeles area starred in the lead role as Buffalo Bill in his wild west traveling show was, Paul Newman.

12:58 Thats not freezeout hill, that The Butte in Emmett. If your anywhere in the treasure valley and look north and you see that big mountain thats not freezeout that The Butte or what the indians called Squaw Butte. It’s virtually impossible to see freezeout hill from this location on the camera. Also the highway between horseshoe bend and emmett is called black canyon, when talking about highway 52.
