2024 Hobie 18 Nationals Final Day

This was the final day of racing and the winds picked up finally giving everyone a chance to cover some ground and make moves. With the racing getting a little more spirited we had a few close interactions that gave us the excitement we were looking for. My father was crewing for "The Joker" who we found ourselves chasing around the course. I made a number of blunders as skipper and it cost us many places, the dead spots and shifts were very unforgiving. We held a steady line at the end giving us a half boat length lead through the finish line. I let the end play out to give people and idea of what waiting for the next race looks like for the 18 fleet, lots of banter and music.
