That’s how these sports games work, they have to release a new game every year and they have to update career, ultimate team, the yard, and more and they also need to update playbooks teams and graphics so they can’t just make an insane game in a year

There’s another difference on ps4 the Jumbotrons are the same but on ps5 the Jumbotrons show the score like in irl

The gameplay graphics haven’t changed much since PS1 or the early 2000s. Pretty shitty, the players look deformed and like they are looking for a porta-potty when they run…and do they run in slow motion? 😂😂😂

Madden is eh... I won't upgrade until they have an actual change in the gameplay. PS4 is just fine for me.

PS3 vs PS4 Yes you can see the difference everything on both platforms sometimes the graphics look same still have a difference on the texture quality and fps everything
PSP vs PSVITA yes definitely you can see one is better than one is easy to see the difference on both

i don’t know but they move better on cut scenes and the contrast looks good in darker ps4 looks brighter contrast with sloppier cut scenes

Its time for all you last gen people to move on and get the new gen. The gaming industry is ready to leave last generation behind. And they should. Making games for both new and old consoles is holding back the games from taking the next step in graphics and features. Its been 3 years. If you havent upgraded by now then gaming isnt that important to you. For me its my main hobby and what i look forward too. So it was a must to upgrade. I'm. Glad i did. More and more devs are just making games for next gen only now. Otherwise they cant make the best possible game. And we deserve the best paying 70 bucks a game. Its been long enough. Time to leave next gen behind. This coming year most of the games being released wont be on last gen. And you cant be upset if you have last gen. Its been 3 years. Not only is new gen faster, but better graphics and more worth the money you spend on games. The differences are huge from last gen to new gen not only on madden but all crossplay games.
Yea and then rinse and repeat when ps5 goes out of business then we get ps6 which will be more expensive then u still have to spend a bunch of money on games, some people don’t have that much money to blow on a system and games if that’s the case don’t put the game on old gen, problem solved don’t make it seem people shouldn’t game because they don’t have the money too it’s not just graphics they are choosing to make only next gen have these things to force u to upgrade its not even about the console being better for madden specifically 😂

Agreed. However it's mainly up to the developers and partially the manufacturers. They see more $$$ selling the game across more platforms from a larger customer base. Also the chip shortage caused people not to upgrade as buying a console without paying scalper prices for the first 2 years didn't help as well.

I remember playing madden 11 on ps2 before I got the ps3 and I noticed something when I got to finally play the ps3 version of madden 11. There WAS MORE TO DO ON THE PS2. There is no fucking excuse for this at all.
Dude madden 04-08 there was so much more to do, it was a video game first.
