I like to call his last fight thus: "Why Megatron is Leader of the Decepticons." Seriously, the dude causes eruptions of lava, barely responds to anything at all, and uses pretty much all the other boss' attacks in lightning-quick succession. Up to this point, I had gone through most of the game as Wheeljack without trouble, but I had no choice but to switch to Grimlock and even then I died like two or three times before I kicked his shiny butt.
I had a strategy for defeating most enemies with ease, Which was to drive up to them and then punch them and then fire at them repeatedly. It usually worked. But for Megatron, God, he kept bombarding me with flame and explosions.
Super late here, but I like using the grappling hook to stun enemies. When you dodge and enter focus, you can press the aim button immediately after dodging. Then you can use the grappling hook, which will cancel many attacks. It's great for bosses, especially Blitzwing, who doesn't get stunned by normal attacks. You have to hit him pretty hard to get any kind of knockback, let alone a stun. However, he will almost always fall victim to the grappling hook. It was incredibly useful for beating story mode on Prime difficulty.

To keep some away a push is good but not the typical kind it's like a punch but you leave your hand open or you can do a push kick. Kicks are very useful, your legs are longer which will give distance. Fights like this have to be ended quickly so pay quick attention to vulnerabilities, a good hit can knock the wind out or stunned and then finish him. Repeat the process. If they have knifes just run, knifes are too quick and unpredictable.
Knives are the most lethal weapons outside guns and bombs, but unlike the other two require you to be extremely close to your target... which begs the question why characters like deadpool don't use them more, as regeneration and immortality lend themselves to knives extremely well, basically cutting the risk down all together.

I got too good at this game, and yet... I choose to use Grimmlock because he's the perfect character to play as. Why? because he's a mecha dinosaur who can grab clothesline a robot and smash them into the ground, or he can shake the shit out of them. That, vs Megatron is still awesome to me.
It's very simple, by which I mean complicated: First I mute all the voices and SFX and raise the volume of the music to max. Next I get to the boss battle and record it, by which I mean I let the boss whale on me for about 5 minutes (dodging makes everything, including the music, go all slow-mo). Afterwards, I convert the video file into an MP3 file and input it into Audacity. Once there, I find the loop point in the music and make it repeat for about 15 minutes. Then I use Windows Movie Maker to make these videos.

Grimlock? Wow, that is a huge departure from Wheeljack, I would've picked Prime personally if Megatron is giving me crap.

yeah, its a reference to the comics where he absorbs the power of a black hole. He uses it in the game to suck you in.
He can channel antimatter in the comics cuz he managed to find a two way connection with a black hole
