For example, Taehyung has a dark tone most of the time while singing because he tends to have a lowered larynx placement which is common in older music like jazz. The reason it stands out with Hobi's voice more is that he usually uses a higher placement and nasal resonance which makes a very bright and pop-y sound. It's actually pretty difficult to switch the larynx placement while in the middle of a phrase just to add texture to a specific word so it really shows how much control Hobi has over his voice. Not sure if I explained that super well but I just thought I would share for anyone who was curious! 💜

Suga and J-Hope do sort of a comedic singing called SOPE. The one with all the lights is a cover of Fix You by Coldplay from about 7 months ago. Should be on the BanganTV channel. All the rap line has expressed interest in singing more. There is also a Live where all the vocal line are rapping with the 3 rappers. It's pretty amazing, even though I like vocals better. Much respect for all these guys. I'd love to see Hobi in the vocal line.

Thanks Shiki - Hobi is a talented and skilled singer, and certainly the most comfortable of the rappers, when it comes to singing - I might be very wrong, but I seem to remember that, before debut, it was considered/talked about that Hobi would debut as a singer and Tae as a rapper… I think we have the best of both worlds though, we get Hobi’s amazing rapping, and we also hear him sing quite a bit too 🙏💜
