Yep love my 949i too switched from the 767 about 2 years ago and much more spacious only con is when solo it’s a bit heavy compared to the 767. But yeah that anchor drill adapter is life saver esp for freezing days like today!! Doing by hand to put on and take off during these deep freeze is a huge pia!!! So yep definitely good tip!! Great vid brother!!

Thanks! Yep at almost 45 lbs it’s a bit heavy, especially early season when you have to pull it on a sled also lol but yeah days like today, that adapter comes in super handy!

Greetings from Manitoba, Canada. Great video ! I bought the 949i last winter and love it. I'm glad I coughed up the extra bucks for the insulated one, though it does add to the weight.

Great video. My neighbor just put one of these on his curb and I swiped in there and got it for free. Only issue is he says it had some mice living in it while it was in his shed (they just bought the house, he didnt ice fish) so my question is how do you all recommend cleaning one of these shanties?

Awesome grab!!! Not sure how to clean them, haven’t had to clean mine yet but I’m sure you might be able to find an electronic version of the manual and instructions might be in that?

I bought mine from Amazon. I have a few links in the description. Right now most are still in stock but they will run out quick when the season is in full swing so get one quick! Last year, it was sold out everywhere!

@@MNMadeAdventures Yep, Cumberland WI, known as "the island city". Sits on the mighty beaver dam lake. Great people there. Same company as Ion. I don't like ion but I like Eskimo. Strikemaster for me. Thanks for that review. I'm also in the market for a quality heater so if you have a suggestion....

@@NomadicNorthwoods Thats Awesome! I use a little buddy heater if it's just me and it's not too cold out. If i need to push out more heat, I have a sunflower type heater that I attach to a tank. I also have a video comparing the two. th-cam.com/video/ZRhSMG6DPKA/w-d-xo.html
