Can't believe it's 40 years for Purple Rain. I was 10 years old when the movie came out and I still love it to this day. My favorite scenes are of course the purifying scene at Lake Minnetonka(which is not, lol) and the Darling Nikki part (my favorite Prince song of all time!) Just giving you a shout out and enjoy your day!!
I've always, since I first saw that beautiful alternative Purple Rain poster at the Rock Shop on Hollywood blvd in the 80s, thought that photo with Apollonia with Prince on the motorbike should have been the cover of the album, and used in the movie posters. Just so wonderful. It would be great to see it used for a future updated SDE Purple Rain release in the future. Good luck to the AS6 fam that wins the autographed! It's going to be a very special *framable* item! Thank you Apollonia and Mr. Seth!

OMG I can't believe it's been 40 years since PURPLE RAIN came out in the theater. I was 17 yrs old & I will always remember that night when PURPLE RAIN ☔ first came out. My siblings & cousin & I couldn't wait to see the movie. We were so excited that night & real enjoyed the movie.I may or may not be correct but I think it came out in the summer? And I remember my first time seeing APOLLONIA in movie. I was like OMG she absolutely gorgeous lol and PRINCE the finest man that ever walked on Earth 🤣 I sure wish that Prince was still here with us to celebrate the 40th anniversary of PURPLE RAIN. I hope to see more of you Apollonia and Seth podcast. I really enjoyed listening & watching the podcast . RIP💜 PRINCE you are truly missed. You are & always will be THE BEAUTIFUL ONE 🕊️💜🕊️💜
