I’ve been listening to music any chance i get. Will try the comply eartips in the future and just kinda experiment a bit. Cheers bro. 👍👍 I wish they sold smaller stock eartips and the cord from tin t3’s separately.
My opinion about tin t2 is... Its netral and balanced... There is no overpower at low, mid and high... When i use it at first, i though "what the sound, feels so calms and so smooth and balance".. It is just so good... And for the good ear position, i change the cable using KZ gold silver mmcx upgrade cable with over ear style, so i dont need much time to have best earphone position in my ear... I hope it helps.. Hi sir. Is it worth buying a new T2 (with 2-Pin) in 2023? I consider this T2 or Moondrop Lan to be my first IEM. Or maybe you have a better opinion or suggestion within that price point. Anyway, great review!
Hey bro, you reviewed HE 150 Pro, which one would you prefer between these and HEs. (Tryin to make a buying decision and I don't mind the iem or earbud style)
The Tin T2s by far, IMO. The 150Pro has a nice smoothness to it, and it has a bigger soundstage, but IMO the T2 is just a lot more engaging to listen to. The T2 also runs off of portable devices better -- the 150Pro requires a bit more power.
Z reviews sold me on T2 . Plus, I checked a CERTAIN reliable measuring database, they claim it's neutral, and it is. Earpads though? Terrible. My head makes too much grease, so the silicone tips, which are flimsy and slippery as is, fall out quickly and JUST DON'T STAY IN. The blue tips are the only option, BUT for my ears they are small, and don't seal well, so they leak bass. My solution was custom Dekoni foam tips. Their foam is not REALLY memory, so it is more rigid and actually STAYS IN MY EARS for a while, which earns it points. And with Dekoni tips, T2 becomes as neutral as the graph promises.
No, other then the T2s, the only other quality option is some of the KZ IEMs but those are more for the sub $25 price range. For $35, nothing can come even remotely close to the fantastic sound of the T2s
@@blakebauman6374 I'd try out of the included foam ear inserts to see which one you like the best, there all pretty good. Hi, I just ordered these because of your review but is the t2 pro better than this model? I also ordered the Shanling Q1 so will it work as a good combo? Also I’m very unfamiliar with these things so could you tell me which settings to use for optimal performance. Should I use hi-gain or low- gain, eq settings, SBC or AAC on Bluetooth and other things like that. I’m new to the audiophile world so a basic introduction will do wonders for me.
T2 Pro is different tuning, not necessarily better. It's a brighter sound, more treble, gives the sound a stronger sense of air and puts vocals more forward. But it's less neutral, and I think T2 Pro sounds better with aftermarket tips. Frankly I stopped recommending T2 Pro because they seem to have changed the manufacturing and ruined it. The Shanling should be great with the T2. You can probably use low gain or high gain with the T2 -- generally, low gain is good for sensitive IEMs that might pick up amp hiss, and high gain is for headphones that require more power. The T2 is in the middle -- it's not so sensitive it'll pick up hiss, and it doesn't require a lot of power to benefit from high gain. I'd probably leave it in low gain unless you need more volume. Bluetooth is a different beast. AAC generally sounds better than SBC. SBC is the lowest quality Bluetooth audio codec.
Super* Review Hi man, I recently received both of my orders and after some tweaking and tinkering the audio sounds phenomenal to me. However, I’m just concerned about the volume, since I’m currently using it as a Bluetooth device. I set my IPhone 7 volume to max and Shanling q1’s volume to 50. Is this too loud, what is the minimum and maximum about of volume I should set up when listening to headphones and earphones on Hi-res players to avoid hearing problems? And I also noticed that Shanling Q1 has very few eq presents such as Pop or Metal, do you have any chart which I can refer to create new eq’s for different genres of music. Thanks in advance!
I saw these on amazon. Might try them. I love the Campfire Audio IEMs but the prices!!!! Ouch! I bought the Sony NW-A45 after watching your demo. It’s a killer, thank you. Sold my Apple iPods!

For people just getting into audio, the most likely limit in your chain is almost always the music. Amazon Music streaming is sufficient, I wouldn't worry about the file format or anything -- just the original recording and mastering. If you have good masterings and good headphones, you've solved about 90% of good audio.
It's kinda impressive that the Tin T2s are still relevant after around 3 years which is a long time in the IEM world, just got these for $33 on aliexpress, I don't think you can do better at this price point right now. Stock cable looks remarkably good on an IEM that originally retailed for 50 bucks, I've seen significantly worse stock cables on more expensive IEMs, like the Meze Rai Solos I bought a few weeks ago, the stock cable included with this set is an absolute nightmare. Had to buy a replacement at Aliexpress.
Got them today. Initial impressions: - Very pleasant neutral signature, I prefer the signature on these over the BLON-03s which are a bit bloaty on the bass. - Average technicalities at best which is to be expected with cheapos though I think imaging could have been a bit better. - Good stock cable though Linsoul has made some revisions to it: The one I got is very similar to the one shown but has memory wire which is a minus in my book - Way lighter than I originally expected the shells to be - Slightly harder to drive than other IEMs I have on hand though these can still be used with a Phone. The T2s are a very easy rec unless you want a beefy bass signature or something, it's a very good starting point for testing out Neutral sounding IEMs before you move on to the big boys.
I love the t2, its a very capable iem. Good technicality, love the tuning (mid sounding, soft on bass), but however through the T2 I realized that I'm slightly treble sensitive as I do find it slightly sibilant (probably due to my music choice; female vocal orientated, etc). I'm wondering if anyone can recommend me a pair that is similar but touch less bright. I know using eq and foam tips do help but I'm looking to buy a new replacement as I'm also having abit of fit issues with the T2, thus have sold them away.
@@SuperReview Thanks for the intro! Turns out ety sound is exactly what I'm looking for. I got myself a pair of 2nd hand er3se and I loved it. The fit isn't as daunting as it seemed to be, it is quite comfortable tbh. Taking them out is when they hurt the most. The flanges scrape on my ear canal on its way out. Now I just need to find good eartips and I'm done! Probably small klipsch ovals or shure olives will my choice.
Hi sir, Ive been using these earphones for half a year. It's very good but one thing i notice is comfort in the long run. They tend to irritate my ears due to the metal piece. Any workaround for that? Will changing the cable make it more comfortable? My ears are weird, sometimes no pain for two hours, sometimes it hurts after 30 mins.
@@SuperReview Sorry for the late response, yes changing from hanging down to over-eat helps a ton. I was just complaining becoz i was too lazy to use the over-ear method. its like when im in a meeting and i want everything to be fast, i just use the hang down method, but after an hour of using, my ears start to sore. Hmm.. im currently using the memory foam, its quite fitting and i think work better than any of the other tips.
Can you please put some light on comfort section. I am very much interested in buy these phones but I game too much, so, I want to whether they are good for long listening sessions?
I wear them all day. These don't fit as deep as some IEMs. I think that makes it a little harder to get them to fit super secure, but it also makes them more comfortable than some other IEMs IMO.
@@KartikyanDogra Wow. That's super cheap. Can you post a link please to that price? I'm gonna order these over ZS10 if I can grab these at this price. Keep me posted!

planning to buy this since someone bought my kz zs7 (I can enjoy any sound signature as long as is clear enough, though I do also like flat & treble happy sound) the thing that still hold me off from buying this is the soundstage. how is the soundstage? is it okay at the very least?

@@SuperReview well I guess for $50 I'll pick a set up and reply back with results! Worst case I use the for mastering in studio. It's hard to mix down on non neutral reproductions!
I haven't tried the RHA. Both the Tin T2 and the Koss KSC75 are awesome -- the KSC75 is especially exceptional. And IMO yes, much better than ES4, but will depend on your tastes I guess.
Good day! Watched this back in 2018 and bought the T2 partly because of this review. I'm just wondering what "inexpensive" replacement cable would you recommend? The included cable looks nice but the durability sucks. Mine broke within few months. (Currenly using a yinyoo copper cable but it has some "fitting" issues.)
@@SuperReview Yeah, that's why I said I think the highs are more than what most people want. They're both great, but I'm more treble sensitive and that's how most of my friends are too.
I have a replacement cable, the stock cable kinda turned green. I've heard they've improved the stock cable since. And I would take this any day over the ZSN.
Probably. TBH, I don't do any music mixing. But seems to me all sorts of sound signatures are used as reference in mastering. I think this will do a good job of exposing issues in treble / vocals, and have enough bass to feel it.
Good question, I really like both headphones. The Koss have much bigger soundstage and generally are a brighter headphone than the T2. T2 is neutral-bright. KSC75 is one of the best sounding headphones I've heard honestly. Obviously the form factor is different.
@@mattialemboluscari8774 Could last years honestly. My pair never gave me problems (but they're currently dismantled, trying to mod them). But to be frank, I don't think I've ever had a headphone cable go bad, probably depends on how rough you are with them. Just take care to not overly strain the cable ends. When wrapping up, don't pull tight on the speaker connection or terminal connection.
I personally prefer them to the AS10 and ZS10, but I'm sure some people prefer the KZs. Both KZs are bassier, the AS10 is a warmer sound, ZS10 is pretty forward, both are quite punchy. T2 is a bit more neutral and airy.
@@SuperReview Yes i've heard about that. Im not looking for a basscanon or something. Just decent ,clear sound nice seperation and very well mids. So this must be the T2 Right?
thanks I now realised there are 2 types one with 2 pin and the short stumpy round connector the latter is the t2 I think. Also put in search on amazon for t2 cable and one of them matched with the Shure 452 which the cable I like said it was for. @@SuperReview

@@erock81487 This is the Yinyoo cable I have: amzn.to/2CsMXkW And yeah, the buds will work with a balanced cable if you have one. So far, none of my sources have balanced out.
They're more than decent! Just note the sound signature I described -- I really like it, but if you're huge into bass you might find these lacking. (FWIW, I think the bass is really nice, just not emphasized.)
@@SuperReview I will get it in October first week, so I definately use it when watching movies or video, and for music I have cca c12 and I like that to hear music, and so much hear about Tripowin x HBB Mele Try to review it many said it's batter than moondrop starfild in 50$
Can you please revisit the T2 standards (not Pro) and review them with blue tac covering the vent on the neck? This increases the bass 10dB. I've been using them like this now for 7 or 8 months. Can't be beaten. Let me know what you think.
I got a pair of these they sound harsh to my ears and very flat. Also couldn’t tell which cable was left or right so I had to run a sound test and I had them reversed.
dude if one is on the other never turns on?☠️☠️ they’re soooo touchy, any little move will mess the connection up and they’ll just turn off and it’ll take me 20 minutes to get back on
It’s super disappointing that these don’t have the formable wire at the end of these to wrap them and shape them up around your ear. I would’ve bought these in a heartbeat, seeing these reviews. But that’s a dealbreaker, sadly.
@@Marvin-t3e the holes on the outside are reflex vents. The system is coaxial meaning one speaker goes through the inside of the magnet on the second inside the IEM which requires vent holes to relieve sure pressure inside the IEM otherwise the 2 drivers fight one another.
Different sound signatures, some people will prefer the ZS10 Pro but IMO the Tin T2 wins easy. ZS10 Pro more a traditional balanced sound with pretty big bass, Tin T2 is less bass but overall a more neutral sound with much much better treble.

- Good stock cable though Linsoul has made some revisions to it: The one I got is very similar to the one shown but has memory wire which is a minus in my book
- Way lighter than I originally expected the shells to be
- Slightly harder to drive than other IEMs I have on hand though these can still be used with a Phone.
Maybe Etymotic ER2SE, XR if you want more bass.
Blon bl03
@@Xzvsc when he said soft on the bass it automatically puts the blons out of the recommendation.
Hi sir,
Ive been using these earphones for half a year. It's very good but one thing i notice is comfort in the long run. They tend to irritate my ears due to the metal piece.
Any workaround for that? Will changing the cable make it more comfortable? My ears are weird, sometimes no pain for two hours, sometimes it hurts after 30 mins.
Do you wear them over-ear, or hanging down? I don't imagine a change would change comfort. Maybe trying smaller ear tips could.
@@SuperReview Thanks you sir for the fast reply sir. I'm thinking to buy them for 27$ from AliExpress.

Just look for MMCX cable with mic
@@SuperReviewawesome! That you for that insanely quick response aswell!! :)
Beautiful video! I have these and love them but it didn't occur to me how much I use the mic on my headphones. Any recommendations on a similar kit that includes a mic? Thank you!
Just search for an MMCX cable w/ microphone -- you can connect it to the T2s if you want the same earphone with a mic.
The direction recommended burn in. In your opinion do these need burn in time
I don't personally pay attention to burn-in claims.

If whant to use earbuds as iem when im playing guitar and singing what is best choise, t2/t2 pro/t3 or something of kz ..i prefer flat, neutral sound ?
Under $100, Tin T2 is a good option, even cheaper is Final E1000. Above, consider Etymotic ER2.
I finally found my iems My T2 now I need help with a budget DAP I'm sick of using my phone I want a dedicated player. I have drove myself crazy watching every video on budget daps and I keep coming back to the ap80 which you have reviewed. AP80 looks promising but I haven't used it. Might be able to find Sony A35 or A45 cheap now.
I purchased Sony Nwa55 plus these iems .. hope they r great
Are you still using your T2's today? I just wanna know if it will be a good daily driver...
Occasionally, I personally use my T2 Pro more. Some people prefer T2 standard.
planning to buy this since someone bought my kz zs7 (I can enjoy any sound signature as long as is clear enough, though I do also like flat & treble happy sound) the thing that still hold me off from buying this is the soundstage. how is the soundstage? is it okay at the very least?
It's about average for an IEM -- not great, but not bad at all.
@@SuperReview great then, planning to use this for commuting so I can leave my headphone for home usage instead of risking broke it while I'm on the go.
Can these be used for watching TV/DVDs/etc.? Would attaching an extension cable for this purpose make a difference?
Extension cable should work as long as there are no problems with the cable. Avoid running it over any other electrical wiring.
looking to buy some comply ear tips and i'm really confused. i think i want the comfort ones but i don't know which one to get. 100's, 200's, 400's or 500's

Hi.... thanq in advance. Please let me know about kz zs10. Can a bass player go for kz zs10 ? Kindly suggest me...
ZS10 has stronger bass than the T2. It's not massive bass, but it's pretty good 👍 Similar to Trn V80, which I'm reviewing next.
Thanq so much.
Are they easy to drive? Would I enjoy them the same way if I use them with my phone which does not have an integrated dac or anytthing as such

Which MMCX cable do u suggest for these? And does it improve the sound?
I like Yinyoo's cables. But no, don't expect a change in the sound unless your current cable has a problem.
Copper cable softens the treble noticeably.
@@hellobooom Cooper cable?
I have a Yinyoo cable on mine right now.

VERY different sound signatures from those two. I like T2 much better, but I like mids more than bass -- and the V80 dips the mids to give big bass.
t2 non pro is better than pro btw, the pro's highs are a little bit more than I think most people want.
@@deimosphob Depends on preferences, T2 Pro is my favorite IEM.
@@SuperReview Yeah, that's why I said I think the highs are more than what most people want. They're both great, but I'm more treble sensitive and that's how most of my friends are too.

@@SuperReview Thanks dude your Awesome ;)
You said its fairly neutral, would that mean I can use these for mixing?
Probably. TBH, I don't do any music mixing. But seems to me all sorts of sound signatures are used as reference in mastering. I think this will do a good job of exposing issues in treble / vocals, and have enough bass to feel it.
Do you need a dac to power these or can you just throw them into a headphone jack?
These will work well off of most any headphone jack.
Hey, can you compare these with Soundmagic E50C or E80C
I haven't heard any Soundmagic 😔
@@SuperReview Oh, alright.
Thanks anyway
Hi man! How would you compare these to the Koss ksc75?
Good question, I really like both headphones. The Koss have much bigger soundstage and generally are a brighter headphone than the T2. T2 is neutral-bright. KSC75 is one of the best sounding headphones I've heard honestly. Obviously the form factor is different.
Thanks, how much do you think a pair of ksc75 (threatened well) will last if I bring them out and walk kilometers and kilometers with them on?
@@mattialemboluscari8774 Could last years honestly. My pair never gave me problems (but they're currently dismantled, trying to mod them). But to be frank, I don't think I've ever had a headphone cable go bad, probably depends on how rough you are with them. Just take care to not overly strain the cable ends. When wrapping up, don't pull tight on the speaker connection or terminal connection.
