Speaking of closed doors … I’ve been applying to jobs nonstop for months now and can’t get anything… I finally gave-up and applied to be a part-time dog-walker/pet-sitter. In the words of Gemma- “Stuff-it!”

I've been walking dogs for the past 3 years for a doggie day care, I love the job but the money isn't great so I've been thinking about going back to my old line of work which is corporate finance & then in the past couple of days I've been offered private dog walking & boarding so I'm strongly thinking of going out on my own & my signs were both new customers' dogs made me laugh while out walking in the beautiful woods with the sun shining & I thought this is the work I love doing, stuff the rat race 😊

🐝 Bee tapping on the window is absolutely a sign for me! A few days ago I was sitting outside feeling morose when I heard this loud "thwop!" and I look over and one of those ginormous bumbles has just bonked into the window next to me. It did it two more times, and then flew straight to my face and right past my ear.
For some reason this was so humorous to me that it lifted my heavy mood. You just reminded me of it 🙏✨🐝 And my mom is the same way. The most psychic person I've ever met, but doesn't believe in it 🤷‍♀️

Yep, “zap” is old American slang for heating up food in a microwave. And I believe a newer or maybe just alternative version is to “nuke” it.

This reminds me: Back in the '90s, my brother's first wife surprised my parents when they all went out to dinner together and she ordered her steak well done. When the waiter double-checked, she confirmed by answering, "Nuke it." My father was gobsmacked at the time, but he always laughs now when he tells that story.

My mom, Sis, and I definitely experience what you and your mom do. There’s so many times when I’ve gotten a strong urge to call my mom and she’ll laugh and say, you got my message! 😄 Or there have been times where my sis who lives in another state as do my parents, will be complaining or talking about having stomach issues w/ her husband. Then within a couple minutes I’ll text her a video regarding ways to massage her stomach or what tea she can drink. She always laughs and calls me a witch 🧙 🤣😂 This has happened many times with different things. 🤭😆

Speaking of signs, I think I heard one last night at 2:30 in the morning trying to sleep, and you hear a distant horn rumbling, and then all the birds woke up and none of us could get back to sleep. The strange part is that I talked to the neighbors in the morning, and they were up, and they heard the birds but not the horn. I've had about an hour of sleep, so I decided to go for a long walk.

I love the Ocean Oracle Deck. Could be my Grand Water Trine being invigorated. I especially like the Lighthouse card which is a personal symbol of mine. I find a lot of signs when I go for a walk. In no matter what environment I walk in; urban, suburban or rural I find things that point to a mystery or an answer or a clue about events to come.

I didn't take my sign as well as I perhaps should have. A white moth landed on my back in the night and fluttered onto my leg. I freaked out and wacked it into the wardrobe. Thankfully it was only stunned and I let it out the window before the cat got it. I might be spiritually awakened, but would rather not wake up at 2 am to that again!

The other third person customer laughed and said they have a similar saying in his country he is from South America, and he thought it was so funny that we say the same thing...

I think people normally say “nuke” for the microwave, but now I think of it, it maybe used to be “zap”. We weren’t allowed to used microwaves when I was little, so I thought it made sense to say “zap”, because I imagined it killing off all the nutrients 🤓

♋️🌞🦀👋 corroborating the use of “zap” and “nuke” for microwaving. “Gee whiz” kind of fell out of favor after the 60s but you occassionally hear it dropped as an alternative to swearing.

The American slang is not very accurate. I think people still say Uncle Sam sometimes, and I guess I might say Gee Whiz, but that’s because I’ve seen a lot of old movies, and it would definitely be odd. The rest I haven’t heard, except “wise in hindsight”, but I think that’s more of a phenomenon than an expression, lol. I love expressions and aphorisms, and this lackluster display makes me want to make my own collection 🤓
