@@m.j.nicholls I think the show became more consistently funny from sometime around Series 20 when John Naismith and then Iain Pattinson gave it the shape with the running gags introducing the games and links that continue to this day.
@@nixmixes770I think it also improved when they started travelling to all the different venues with the big and enthusiastic audiences. Perhaps they've become more confident by this stage.
I heard this while on a train, around 2002, and laughed so much there were tears. 🤣
Thanks for uploading these for posterity. Good job!
Thx M J great memories
2:28:50 is the very last show recorded by Willie Rushton - when originally broadcast there was a tribute to him by Ned Sherrin.
yey!! it's a bit late to tuck into these now tonight, but tomorrow will be a day without a clue.. 🙂
thankyou for sharing..
These shows were the last featuring Willie Rushton, he died soon after.
Thanks 🎉
Hooray for Willie
Something indescribably funny about Willie Rushton's rendition of "Rawhide"
Many thanks from Baja Sur Mexico. Very pleasant listening, especially in contrast to current events.

Love these uploads. How far back do you have?
To the very beginning, Ivan. The very beginning. I'm not sure I'll upload the lot, as Clue only became properly funny in the 90s.
