"back in the day" i used to be in a clan called AOW (All Out War) playing this game online. I also used to really enjoy playing the Snipers only maps that people created. Man those were the days......................
@Classic PC Games Hey, curious question how did you get the resolution to fix itself in the multiplayer portion of Call of duty 1. I own the game on steam and i edited the config file which fixed the single player but the multiplayer is still stuck on lower resolutions so I took another look and saw there was a config mp file so I went to edit that and change the resolution, plus changing that r_mode -1 but it still made no difference when launching the game. Also interestingly I can’t see an option to change FOV in the Multiplayer configuration file. i

I couldn't join the discord for some reason. I didn't know we could still play this game. On steam it says it's single player. Is steam where I should buy it for multiplayer? It's $20 USD. In the current ability spam game environment I really want to get back to simplicity. Best FPS ever.

this game had the best maps . i hate the current trend of small chaotic maps .

I am sorry, but this is old game. It is sometimes hard to play old games in higher resolution and without black bars.
But game is best FPS for sure

Yes it is both single and multiplayer on steam. But you won't see servers as the master server browser is down. You can still connect via ip though

Every time I try to play all the servers are empty
Some times are busier than others, keep trying mate
Make sure that you have version 1.1, nexus tdm almost always has players in it.
cod 1.1 is still active both asian and european servers are running
with decent amount of players.
