Also, can you please do a review of all the curriculum your kids are using by grade level for this school year? I dont see that video in your video list. Thanks!
Definitely will get to that--- we've made a few changes already this year so I wanted to wait until we have settled down with our changes before making it but it will be coming! Thanks for watching! Have a wonderful day!
You definitely can-- personally, I would not recommend it because it may do them a disservice in the long run! Doing each one doesn't take much time so I would start each one on their own grade level But you know your child best! If they are a child who struggled then I'd say yes yes and yes! But I wouldn't want your child to be bored in using the level 1 even though they are capable of more. Hope that helps!! Thanks for watching!
The first language lessons for a well-trained mine are all designed to be taught in consecutive years (first grade through 4th). Then once they are completed, the child moves on to grammar for the well-trained mind (which are now identified by color instead of grade level) because they can be completed in any order! Hope that helps--thanks for watching! and if you haven't checked out our decluttering series, would love for you to join! It's been an amazing journey!!
We didast year and was going to continue with our 3rd grader but we switched to focus on more specific components. I really wanted the kids to get experience with finding mistakes and fixing them so I found a workbook that included that.
👏👏👏👏sis, your reviews are so THOROUGH!!! Love this and your singapore review❤ Question: can FLL3 be done in the second grade after using Evan Moor Grammar & Punctuation 1? I like the idea of starting the sentence diagramming, letter writing, dictionary training in second grade so child will be prepared to move into CAPs Well Ordered Language series in grade 3.
I don't know Evan moore first grade level very well so I'm not sure if FLL3 can be done after it. I think the 2nd grade level is also an excellent program though-- they just don't quite focus as much on sentence diagramming and instead more on what a noun, verb, adjective, adverb are. If your child is ok with all the writing for sentence diagramming in 2nd grade then I'd say definitely use the 3rd grade level. We typically stay with this and then switch to IEW for a year then TGTB program since it combines so many little pieces. Hope this helps and thanks so much for watching! :) Blessings, Andreea

Could first language lessons be done with a combined 1st and 2nd grader or should a 2nd grader go to level 2?

Hi is this program secular?
I believe so but not positive as I'm not sure who the author actually is. It's wholesome curriculum!
@@TheBalancedMom thanks 😊 I really appreciate it!
My pleasure!
what is the difference between "first language " and grammar for the well-trained mind?

Are you still using this?
