I love this, I could look at crystals all day!
I can't help but think about how challenging it must be settings up of these booths. It must take hours if not days. The muscle it must take to pick up all those big peices. Then if you don't sell everything you have to pack it all up again.
If I ever visit tucson I should never go here😂 my bank would be in danger🤣

My first trip to Tucson gem show I had an overload episode where I had to just sit down and process the magnitude of the show. It is when I walked into a massive tent where there were multiple 30' long tables piled a foot deep with all colors of fresh water pearls.. put me " over the edge" of unbelievable!

I’m so happy you met someone from your birth country! Coincidence…I think not (divine intervention). I had no idea you where from Honduras, when I was in grade 9, I put Honduras on my scuba diving bucket list!
I wish I could go to one of these shows, it would be so amazing, overwhelmingly beautiful, it would take me forever to pick lol. I would want to buy so much lol. would need to leave the credit card locked up!! Lol 😂

Do you ship your crystals back or bring it with you back on the plane? Debating if i should drive or fly next year. I live in California
You talked about the airport security thing and I work for TSA so I just want to explain something to you. Yes its werid a lot of people get randomed sometimes but thats what random means. Yes, the machine does pick you because we wouldn't want to do extra work for no reason. Secondly, being pre check does not entitle you to be exempt from additional screening as stated in the contract you sign when you sign up for it. Being precheck solo means you had a background check and the government has your fingerprints so they know youre not a terrorist so you get to keep your shoes on (unless they alarm) and not remove items for your bags (most of the times). Just an fyi.
It was like every other person was randomly selected and they were specially checking electronics. It was just interesting to see out of the 5 people who were standing there 4 got selected. I’m aware of all the screening I fly very often, just thought it was interesting

You gave a sound test to a sphere and declared it to be glass? Obsidian is technically glass, so doesn't that change the clinking, sound test?
Also, saying that "you just know" when something is fake, isn't actually helpful. Can you explain some please?
There is a difference between man made glass and earth made glass. This comes with time and experience. I also knew those were glass because I’ve been in the industry for a while and spend years researching. It’s very obvious when something is glass to me now vs. when i just started. Also it just known in the industry those are glass. But if it’s something that isn’t obvious to you yet you will pick that up with time and lots of research on your own.
