You NEED to watch the clone wars. It makes Revenge of the Sith be one of the best movies in the franchise. Also the final arc is the best story in my opinion since the Empire Strikes Back.
And even after all that the prequels and sequels added, they still lead smoothly into Return of the Jedi, which was brilliant ending to Anakin's journey.

I like Obi but I always felt like it was him who failed Anakin, he could have saved him. He was like a big brother to Anakin when Anakin needed more of a father. The Jedi council also failed Anakin, Qui Gon Jinn would have done a better job if he survived that fight with Maul.

Attack of the Clones, 6. Revenge of the Sith, 7. Return of the Jedi. After this, make sure to watch The Clone Wars Animated series. This order will allow you to really get the chance to react to all the best bits of the full story even if it does jump around a little. * Rogue one is Asterisk because you don’t have to watch it in that order at all. But it’s a very good introduction before the actual Skywalker saga. Hope this helps and if you have more questions just reply ☺️
