The Blizzard 1981 is my favorite.. i like the color... engines modifications is very easy on those 9500 and 7500 because they are 354 series and 454 series Like those Sno Pro Rotax Oval Racing engine but the Racing engine is more powerful more torque and RPM....
I had one of those 81 9500 it was fast and there wasn't to many of them around here I purchased it from fox hollow sports in lesueur mn I should've kept the sled but I traded it back for a 1982 9500 with oil injection.
Had the base model 5500, love the looks of that sled, wicked!
Beautiful muscle sled!!! The 9700 was even faster.

One of the best sounding stock exhausts ever.
They sounded really sweet with that hi end ping coming out the pipes. They sound awesome when warming up.

I have this sled. It's old and beat up but it starts every season and runs like a top. I love it,i'll probably hang on to it.

My brother had a moto ski super Sonic. He bought a new ski doo formula plus in 91. Tge super Sonic was faster

I remember when people started debating moving up a year or two to get the oil injection.
I had the 82, the oil injection was a pos so just went with premix. Very fast 440 but heavy

I had this exact sled back in the early 90's. Fun and fast. Not much suspension. Thanks for sharing!
