HorrorPizza101 Studios Wrong!! I'm what's known as a ghostwriter. I've had hit songs on the radio since the early 90s and never once did they print my name in any of the CD liners. Never once did they put my name in Wikipedia articles. They took great care to preserve my anonymity.
It was more important for me to get my music heard than to make money or get my name posted in a bunch of places.
