A peripheral vision test can help determine if you have any blind spots which can impact your driving.
It’s for eye pressure
When they blow and make eye contact
It’s the quicker way to test for your eye pressures. The gold standard (actual method) is to use goldmann tonometry, where they first put anesthetic drops in your eye then they set up a the slit lamp with a probe. Then they gently push the probe onto your cornea. Honestly it’s a lot of work and more accurate, but I rather stick to the non contact tonometer that shoots air into your eye cos it’s way quicker.
Yeah, had that happen to me too, after LASIK. The optometrist just laughed and literally said "haha you got scared!". I was like bro, you do this a hundred times every day, how is this still funny to you...
Some people call that the puff test. It's meant to determine internal eye pressure.
Imagine if they used 14 stroke kanji for visual tests
I hate the eye blow thing. My uk optomotrist has something diff now that doesnt need to blow but gets same results. Such a relief!
The Doc just wanted to show Connor where he was coming from.
ConnorConnor you need to do a taskmaster series with your mates…. It’s perfect for you
I've had a pressure test done at specsavers. pretty standard.
It's a test for eye pressure and it's pretty standard for an eye exam. What really sucks is if you are like me, and your eye pressure runs high and you have a family history of glaucoma and they decide they need to test the thickness of your cornea to see if you are at risk of developing it. Requires sticky eye drops and using a device that has to be placed ON YOUR EYBALL to check your corneas thickness. Good news is I have thick corneas which is why I have higher eye pressure readings than the average patient bad news is the test is... unpleasant... to say the least.
Nice
Connor taking the Voight-kampff test.....🤨
The pressure test is standard and has been for decades. Yes it is annoying but hardly new.
Conner needs a new Optometrist, I’d never let my doctor blow a load on my face let alone in my eye
About as classy as I expected the comments to be.
