Indian cricket team should ruthlessly play and try to knock out australia from WTC'25 finals to further slow down pain of WC'23 ODI finals loss.But Gambhir's team selection also seeming to be bit substandard and unfiar like dravid.Hope gambhir will be on track and will prove better than our expectation.
It won’t be easy to beat Aus on their home soil.
They will be better prepared this time.
Our batsman Rohit and Kohli have past their prime and not sure they might put decent score consistently.
Also our bowling Siraj and 4th bowler are bit question mark..
And not to forget Travis head who is in his peak and like to play agnst India.

If kohli, gill and iyer fail against Bangladesh and new Zealand in terms of individual scores, even if India win, they should not play in BGT and WTC. And that Rahul needs to be fired immediately. Can't rely on him anymore in pressure situations. Wish rutu, rinku, jaiswal and ishan would be given a fair chance. I don't see that hunger in Kohli anymore. Like does he do any training anymore in nets to work on his weaknesses like agaonst spin? If he doesn't care enough to practice, then I don't u derstand why he is still picked?
India should ensure that aus win max 1 match in BGT and ensure they do not meet them in finals..otherwise again aussies will be favorite again

@@abhishekihma Exactly that is the best revenge for the last WTC that India could possibly do. Try to defeat them 5-0 or 4-0 (with 1 draw), and kick them out of the WTC final. The pitch at Lord's is very slow and seems like most of our batters (even the experienced seniors like Rohit, Kohli, Pujara, Rahane, etc) also struggle on very slow tracks like that.

Then India need Pak to loose 1 test to England and SA to loose against Bangladesh 0-2 OR 0-1
India's fortune can change rather quickly if all goes wrong for them in BGT.

Australia has a tricky tour of Srilanka in addition to the India series.Dont strike out Pakistan either they have a full home season against depelated Bangladesh and West Indies, England series may be competitive,if they beat the English and pull back a miracle against South Africa in their yard they may reach WTC final.
Are you sure?? The way West Indies has been playing test cricket in the last 10 months they will be favorites against Pakistan, England & sa will crush Pakistan. Only Bangladesh is a team who will be beaten by Pakistan. Pakistan lost/draw all their test matches in previous wtc cycle.

@@piyushtiwari4190 West Indies has just won 1 test in the WTC that was an individual performance, and don't forget Pakistan has a lethal pace attack which may wreck havoc in South Africa.
@@sayantanghatak24 But Pakistan has to bat well as well to win against SA. They might get some runs against England in their home turf, playing in dead pitches, but in SA their batting will be in serious trouble..

India has also some very good players in bench, and of course, no matter what Virat and Rohit does now, they will be ready to fire in Australia..So, there is nothing to worry for India...Bring it on....
Remember without kohli and key players we breached Gabba with our fearless youngsters after being all out for 36 runs in the first test everyone wrote us off that we will lose 4-0 but we turned things around in melbourne, draw in Sydney is equivalent to victory injured Ashwin and vihari saved us on day 5 and gabba victory was incredible

I think we’ll get to the final but we really need to learn from our failings from the 2023 final and hopefully get over the line this time.
Some of the players in WTC final from 2023 should NOT be picked for the next WTC final. If Kohli and Gill don't make enough runs and struggle in BGT, they should be dropped too. Some of these batsmen still need to work on their weakness against spin cuz Australia will use this to their advantage.
