I'm not a Christian, and I condemn the NFL'S condemnation of this player, Butler!!! His beliefs are NOT an affront to anyone, and even if they were, his beliefs are protected by the 1st amendment. Which, obviously, means nothing to the League!! Despicable!! 😎🇺🇸
Did you defend Collin Kaepernick when the NFL black listed him?
One man is celebrating the strength and skills of a broad group people (gender). The other man condemned a national tradition and purposefully offended people in response for a wrong that done to a group of people (race). Both actions are protected from punishment under the law via the 1st amendment. Both actions can be taken into consideration in terms of future employment opportunities and are not protected by title VII of the civil rights act. So legally both of these men can be blacklisted but what they did is very different. @CraigGrant-sh3in

The NFL did not blackball Colin Kaepernick.
Roger goodell set up a tryout in Atlanta in falcon stadium with 28 teems and Kaepernick chose not to show up because they wouldn't let him bring his film crew into the stadium and it is NFL policy that that is not allowed.
So Kaepernick blackballed himself and I want to ask you one legitimate question and I want you to answer it with facts and proof.
The 67 million dollars that he got in his settlement from the NFL That he wasn't entitled to and the money that he got from Nike in which I'm pretty sure put him well over 150 million with his NFL money, how much of that money did he use to help oppressed people in the black community? I'll wait!

Exactly. I read the full text over twice to see what the problem was and he said nothing derogatory towards women. If anything he praised his wife. I think some women are jealous they don't have a man who thinks so highly of them.

@@CraigGrant-sh3in False equivalency. Butler was invited to a religious school to speak about his faith. Kapernick tried to hijack the National Anthem to push his protest. Kapernick’s right to free speech should be defended, but not in the context that he chose. Not to mention that his message was pretty incoherent and inconsistent from the beginning. But that’s a whole other topic.

This young man has breeched the wall built by the left around the subject of women’s role in society.
The left always establishes the parameters around subjects of great concern, such as race and immigration.
This was one such subject and because of this young man and his courageous speech, others will lose their fear.
On this subject, people might read Theodore Roosevelt’s remarks to the Mothers’ Congress, on March 13, 1905. Here is part of it:

Dude! I love being a mother! It is the best achievement, besides being a wife. My family is my greatest achievement! Thank God for my husband and family! Nothing is as rewarding! I have a job, and my family is so much more! God bless you! Keep up the good fight! The nuclear family is beautiful! I do not have to work. I choose to help provide in this economy, but I have the best of both worlds. I get to raise our children with our morales, values, and ideology. Jesus Christ is our savior. Motherhood was my best and most fulfilling, I hated that I had to go back to work.

I have lived this choice...career woman that quit my very su cessful career when I had my 3rd child. Realized a couple of important things. 1) I was paying others to care for my babies. That was NOT why I had children. 2) 30 minutes after I resigned, my employer was moving on. That's how valuable I was to them. My kids and husband loved having all of me and to them, I was invaluable.

A lot of times parents don't realize this until their kids have already been raised by daycare through their impressionable years. Time you cant get back no matter how hard tou try.
Read til the end. I agree with Butker. My wife agrees with Butker. My sister in law who has 2 degrees also agrees with Butker. All the women on my family are homemakers. All the women in my family have skills, certificates, or degrees. They all stay and home while kids are young. Many of them go or will go back to work as the kids reach high school age. If they want. This is a great message but he chose a bad platform to send this message. How you speak your cause matters and he chose a poor spot for this. Standing at a college graduation is not the time for this.
Celebrating? To single out women at their graduation and lecture them using language that they have been diabollically lied to and speak for them about what they want most. Also, to say his wifes life didn't start until she became a wife and homemaker.

After not watching football for about 15 years. I had considered tuning in this year because of the Bears draft picks. But im suddenly reminded of why I stopped to begin with
If my team didn't have so much hope for the future as we do now more than we've ever had in our 22 year history, I wouldn't be watching it either. Thankfully our QB is a good christian. As for the NFL itself, specifically the behind the scenes stuff like going woke and the idiot commissioner, not a big fan anymore.

I commend him for speaking his truth ! Women are giving up their most important role of raising their children . Sadly we bought into the two income household and our children were the ones who suffered .
And guess who started the two income family? Ronald Reagan and his trickle down economics which never trickled down. The so called job creators kept most of the money and never let it trickle down. Before Reagan a CEO made about 15 to 20 times what the average worker made. Now it's 800 to 1000 times what the average worker makes. An example which is probably higher. Jeff Bezos makes 9.7 million dollars an hour and pays his workers between 20 and 30 dollars and hr. Big difference.

@xerxestelevision6666 that's your parents fault for not establishing a life before having children. My husband and I both had jobs when we met and married. We built a life, and a home, and then we had children. At that point I became a mother and a wife only. When my husband comes home he has clean clothes, a meal, and most importantly my full support. I give him affirmation that he's doing great by making his life at home easier. He doesn't have to do anything domestic. He will cut the grass, he will make repairs, he will sometimes take out the trash, but for the most part he doesn't have to do anything. Even those things I can do myself mostly. I support his ideas, his decisions, and his career choices. We don't struggle and we give our kids everything they need and most of what they want. We can do that because we built a solid foundation before we started having them. That's the point. A woman and a man standing firmly together with each other, their faith, and their family, is the most beautiful thing about life. I miss absolutely nothing about working outside of my home and family. I never have a thought about what could've been if I had stayed in a career. I don't need anything else because I have everything under my roof every night when we fall asleep. It's too bad women have sold themselves out for a dream of luxury, or for a man that doesn't want to be the leader of a family. And I'm not one bit sorry for saying that.

I think Harrison B was spot on for the times we live in. I see a bill of goods being sold to woman of child bearing years that they are not prepared, whether financially or otherwise to take on the role as mother and create a successful loving family. I raised my kids as a home maker, and had to navigate other people’s irritation that I was not striving to split my attention and as challenging as all of it was i persevered and would recommend it to anyone. My kids are thriving and they have a reference for how a family functions, sacrifices are made, love endures. In a world full of tattletales, show offs & know it alls be a Mom!

I agree with him. It takes EVERYONE in a family to play their role. Women get taken advantage of most of the time. Both need to step up. If not, it breeds resentment and well, there you have it.
Also, I wonder how these people feel about their childhood and how they were raised. If their mother worked full time, are they completely happy being raised in daycare or by a babysitter or would they wish that they had their mother around more to take care of them and spend time with them?

I’m seriously confused Will! What did Harrison say that was so wrong? I watched the entire video. What he said was entirely correct! I’m not a Catholic. I’m a Baptist. However, everything that he said was correct. Women, especially mothers have the hardest job on Earth. There is absolutely nothing more important for a woman, than to have children and raise them properly. As well as men! Men have to be there and do their part. I apologize for saying this when you are covering this silly trial. Honestly, I haven’t wasted my time watching this trial. I watch Fox, and I listen to Kilmeade every day, all day. My television, and radio are on in my office all day. I’m a day trader. So, cnbc, fox business, and the radio. Are an all day thing. Yall cover some very weird topics man. But nothing I learned from either college beats my common sense. I earned my degrees, and I paid back my loans to get them. Like I was supposed to do. My wife of thirty five years. Had four daughters, worked as a registered nurse, and kept our home perfect. We worked hard, put our daughters through private Christian school, and everyone of them went on to earn college degrees and they are married and doing the same as we did. Raising children and having solid families. The things that yall cover are simply crazy to us. It’s sad for us that society is heading towards this.

The problem with your motherhood senerio is that great moms and homemakers is they give and teach them all the values. Then send them off to school where they have very little say so it how they are indoctrinated to attempt to undo every family value. Having a degree or aspiration is also important, after all as a parent myself my children became adults way too soon and now i pray and hope they choose the right path (which the have) with their own families. Parents become empty nesters sooner or later. Then what?

God Bless motherhood. It is a true challenge to successfully raise children and run the "business" of homemaking. Watch successful men and women who were raised with a consistent directional compass and you will most often hear, "Thanks Mom" first out of great athletes to CEO's. When single mothers face and succeed at this, They have earned a place in heaven with a Gold Star. Ask this: If the "means" are justified, then why in the last 50 years or so, have we seen a spiraling down of marriage, education, Basic civility and respect for country, parent(s) God/Faith. Faith that rightly humbles us to selflessness. Those women who "Had it All." seem to be rarely truly happy and fulfilled(?) Hum. Just consistent observations. These reality's cross almost all ethnicity's and cultures world wide. The Crux...here's where, Dare I say it, the teachings of the bible come in. Oh crap, did I say that? We were Warned and we ignore(d) that warning at our our obvious cultural peril, which has become Statistically apparent. Facts and simple biblical teachings are hard things to ignore.
He did not need to deliver a message pro family by undermining the hard work of the graduates, actually he should have refrained to make this day about him and celebrate his wife as the model to follow at that very moment. It was not about her or him, it was about the graduates and their achievements.

Butker's speech is NOT Christianity. What's more outrageous than what he said to make the Woke Mob angrily try cancelling him is what he said claiming the name of Christianity. He said he hopes he and his wife reach salvation through Catholicism. One does not need to keep the Catholic sacraments to have eternal life with Christ.
