    I was introduced to the Pilgrim Air8000 labeled AKU (made in Romania) by the Seal Teams and those and the first Gen Adidas GSG9 Assault boots I had were the two most functional boots I ever used to this day.

    Nice boots I work on tanks and got oil on my par so recommend spray them with something to prevent stains as you can’t polish them only brush under a tap with soppy water ... plus my mate has a set and the mesh is starting to rip obviously he’s snagged it on something but all round I’d recommend theses boots by far the most comfortable boots iv ever used .......
    There are some differences between how the issue boots are made compared to the shop ones as in the eyelets for the lassies are leather not swade and the vibrim soles are the black diamond not the yellow ..........

    Hello,
    I can’t find any information on what crampons you would use for these boots. Also do you have any recommendations for maintenance for the boots. Thanks

      The Pilgrim range is not specifically crampon compatible, but you will be able to fit a set of micro spikes or Kahtoola KTS to them to help winterise the boots a little.
      Caring for them is pretty straightforward, clean off any mud whilst the boots are still wet, a scrubbing brush and lukewarm water should do the trick, then leave them to dry naturally. Occasional treatment with a footwear repel spray from Grangers or Nikwax will keep them water repellent.

    what is life span of these boots?

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We give a 3 year common sense guarantee on all of our footwear - Put simply, if within 3 years a manufacturing fault develops in the materials or workmanship of a product that we sell, we guarantee to sort it out. Our aim is to reach a fair and agreed solution, which may be a refund, replacement or a professional repair.
      The "common sense" bit. If the kit has simply been used and abused and has subsequently worn out, we can't help that. Kind regards, Harry.
