Fans are eager to witness displays of boxing skills, which they believe Wilder lacks.But if Wilder is correct about knockouts then him fighting Makmadov would be a more fitting opponent , potentially leading to an intense match with each fighter delivering the potential for knockout performances.
He doesn’t lack the skill needed to land his right hand. Managed to land plenty on fury. No other fighter aside from Francis has been able to do that. Skills are more than just having proper form. Skills are mental as well

Wilder is a changed man and I'm loving it. He's humble but inside that ring he's still a killer. What a fun and entertaining fighter to watch. Hes definitely been humbled since his defeats. Lets see if he Kos Parker. If he does I'll take my hat off to him. I do think hes going to have a difficult time though. Parker is a better fighter under Andy Lee. They also definitely know Wilder and his strengths and weaknesses.. Lee is a close friend ofbthe Fury's.
Parker isn’t Fury. Smaller and not as skilled. Even with all the in-house knowledge he’s probably not going to KO wilder. It’s not in his resume.

Then AJ got leathered by Ruiz. The only time they were the clear top two was in summer 2018 when the 50million was rejected.

Technically he knocked fury out and the ref did a longer count than a normal 10 count.

I still can’t get over how Deontay behaved when he lost to Tyson Fury when he made bitter accusations of cheating and blamed everyone but himself. He was so up himself and delusional, he couldn’t bring himself to admit he was beaten fair and square. He just couldn’t give Tyson any credit and that was really bad sportsmanship. But that said, he’s found his way back to competing again, which I never thought he would. That man was destroyed, mind, body and soul after his last fight with Fury. So for that in a way I respect him. But I’ll never be a fan.
That's the problem I have with AJ. He never mentions clearly that he wants to fight Wilded. Even when Miller asked him recently, he was being philosophical.
