I think the sad thing is as they have always said that BTS is seven so if anyone decides to go solo BTS will probably disband and that will be a heavy burden on the person who does it. They all have proven they can have solo careers and all have different styles. I think they will do an album and a tour then pursue their solo careers and come back every few years to do an album and tours. I have always thought if someone would leave that it would be Tae. He is close to his brothers but is equally close to his other group of friends and I remember Jungkook once saying he spends more time with them than BTS. This was around four years ago. I think he may eventually do a lot more solo work and be reluctant to do BTS comebacks. I am surprised that he does not have a desire to act as he is a natural and seemed to enjoy it. I think the high fees are asked also as it takes time away from the group which affects their schedules so it would have to be high to compensate rescheduling BTS events. Jin often does things he wants to do for free so he could go into acting by lowering his fee. I am glad I am not a gambler as I would have put money on him moving on to acting. When you think about it we do not know any of them well and much of what we think are just our assumptions . I hope he gets to do what makes him happy as that is the most important thing. I’ve thought for a long time that Tae was trying to construct an alternate universe to BTS. The Wooga squad is his main emotional support system rather than BTS members. His choice of MHJ as the creative producer of his album was his way of trying out working with another label, Ador, so he could make a smooth transition when he left BigHit. He has done the most to keep his fans well fed during his military service. So I was surprised when he re-signed with BigHit and do not expect to see him stay once BTS does their comeback album and tour in 2025/2026. I think he will be happier.

@@ultimatevbts1230 this is just my opinion, but V is very committed to the group BTS, but societal expectations limits his freedom of expression to be himself. As part of the maknae line he is expected to tolerate and accept restrictions because of the deeply ingrained hierarchical relationships embedded in the culture concerning age and social status. V's personality is very much rebellious and he has always had trouble trying to conform. The other members are definitely his friends, but to them, the hierarchical relationship is more organic, which does influence their dealings with Tae unknowingly restricting his need for his independence to be seen, heard and respected. I remember Bing doing a reading on Bang and V and although Bang loved V and not only wanted the best for him, Bang wanted to GIVE the best of everything to him. However, V was like NO! I can do it myself! Their relationship was very much like a father and son where the son is very independent and wants to forge his way in the world by his own means, but because of this, he and his "father knock" heads.

JK has pretty much already tried to pull away from it. They are all probably going to leave BTS (disband), not necessarily leave BH/Hybe, after the end of the contract they just signed. They will be in their mid to late 30s at that time.
