Uranium price explosion is just the beginning; “You ain’t seen nothing yet” says Rick Rule

- The uranium market has been plagued by illiquidity, but with the advent of metal-backed funds, like the Sprott Physical Uranium Trust Fund (SRUUF), the problem of liquidity is alleviated, said Rick Rule, director of Sprott.
The Trust was launched in the summer, following the re-organization of the Uranium Participation Corp., and the price of uranium subsequently rose from $30/lb to above $40/lb on Friday.
Rule told David Lin, anchor for Kitco News, that the current price is still cheap, especially when considering that most uranium producers in North America can’t yet restart operations even with $40/lb. Operations have been suspended due to a combination of uneconomical uranium prices and COVID-19.

Wow, this uranium price move was unexpected because I didn't see Sprott actually being able to move the market. Rule had been calling it. Had been trading around uranium but might have to hold on longer for this ride.
Thats because Rule works at Sprott
Today Rick says: you ain't seen nothing yet. Off course he says that. He wants the music to keep playing. However, if price drops/corrects, he will say: off course price dropped, it was getting a little overheated / overvalued, it was getting ahead of itself. He said the same 1 year ago when gold and miners corrected. It would be nice if he told us in advance, and not afterwards. However I also think uranium is going a lot higher, just like precious metals and miners. Its all going up. But that will take time and it will be volatile.
I appreciate your take here. I was skeptical throughout this interview, glad to hear I wasn't off-base.

Check out the smaller market caps guys like AURA (cheapest DFS stage project) and UWE (cheapest pre-FS stage project): they've been outperforming the big ones by several multitudes based on how low the market cap alone. ETF inclusion of AURA in 1H 2022 and UWE in 2H2022 will have huge impact to the share prices of both.
When might the Sprott Physical Uranium Trust be traded on the New York Stock Exchange?
Saw URA in the 17's and decided to wait for it to set up but then it just took off, can't chase waiting for the dip.

That's not quite true. He correctly called it the last time equities were ahead of themselves. It was around May/June time this year. A correction followed.

Is there are risk that Utilities will use Natural Gas rather than Nuclear Plants if Uranium price goes up? Exelon is closing 2 Nuclear Plants in Illinois because Natural Gas is cheaper.

Until today they only had 300million approved... This is huge, they will drain the spotmarket.

I like Rick Rule and I trust him a bit, but I am seeing a "tell" that I have not seen in other interviews....the "scratch' to the face as he is talking; I think this interview is worth watching a few times.....look for body language.

As long as NAV premium is there, Sprott will keep buying, that's how they earn management fees. If it goes negative, it's time to get out, either this or when your grandma say to buy uranium.
