Hi Tim, Please visit our website at www.titus-hvac.com and click on the Titus University tab, then click Titus Timeout podcasts. You will see all of our podcasts but you can filter down to just chilled beams.
can chilled beams be used water from IDEC units ,water temperature : typically wbt-2 degree celcius power consuption 40% of chiller(during low humidity seasons)
thanks for replying , i wanted to ask if chilled beams can work with 2 stage evaporative cooling , water inlet temperature is 2-3 degree Celsius below for 2 stage in comparison to direct evaporative cooling
in evaporative cooling water temp cannot go down below ambient wbt , which in 99% cases above room design dew point. issue is in monsoon season , rh increases and water temp will tend to go above designed room dry bulb, thus failing to provide comfort cooling.
Thanks a lot. Very short and cozy presentation!
Nice and simple, love it!
Do you mind including video links in the description to your other chilled-beam walkthroughs? Thanks for making this!

Are you asking if beams can work with direct evaporative coolers? If so the answer would be yes.

Chilled beams can work with evaporative cooling as long as the water temperature is maintained above the
room design dewpoint.
in evaporative cooling water temp cannot go down below ambient wbt , which in 99% cases above room design dew point. issue is in monsoon season , rh increases and water temp will tend to go above designed room dry bulb, thus failing to provide comfort cooling.
