I don’t understand some film reviews saying that the movie didn’t go deeper enough to show Mercury’s private life. Did they really think that May and Taylor, after all these years, would agree to make a movie exploring Mercury all over again? No way. It is called loyalty. (A fan from S. Korea)

All they want is what is not known about him an what the band mates knew also. Its shady that they want to about his privite life an whats not known , this is all we need to know an nothing more. He was enjoying life with his friends/ band mates an he loved his family an that fact they gave the fans what they wanted xx
The critics just wanted to see some gay sex scenes. I think the fact that the Queen team didn't include any of that was a great decision. The movie was tastefully done. Anything more personal and private in regards to Freddy's life is none of anyone's damn business anyway. The movie captured his essence and his charisma, which is what made the world fall in love with him in the first place
Kayleigh Natasha - he didn’t want to be involved in the project. After the tribute concert he said he no longer wanted to perform as Queen and he has kept to his word. Although he was, involved in the music industry, I believe he has stepped back from that. I admire his resolve

Well the verdict is in and I for one loved this if you're a Queen fan or even if you're not but appreciate the music you will love this movie. I was not disappointed the talents of all the actors involved in the story did a fantastic job. I have to say Gwylam who plays Brian May exactly like the real Brian May as did the who played John Deacon almost identical. Rami Malik who played Freddie Mercury was fantastic if he doesn't get nominated for a BAFTA or an Oscar then Hollywood doesn't know fantastic acting when they see it. Rami Malik you did Freddie Mercury proud. I won't spoil anything for you apart from telling you to go see this movie.

He didn’t actually find out till a few years after Live Aid. But he had all those same reactions about having to do all he could while he was still alive. He did push himself to do concerts till he no longer could & then to record as much as possible. *Hamilton* took far more liberties with timeline and truth than did BohRhap & they were the darlings of critics (& still are!). In the USA, they laud the show as it makes people want to learn the true story. Why can’t they do that with this movie? Arghhhh

I saw the movie today today and it was fantastic. The overall cast were great but Rami Malek gave an outstanding performance portraying the legendary Freddie Mercury and he deserves some acting nominations come Movie Awards Season.

Rami Malek is the best one who played his role correctly and very, very well. He studied the character's plans very well, and her idea was amazing about the other actors. It is clear that they play what they represent. Missing the other seminal and crucial Queen member and survivor John Deacon. The man whose departure from working with Roger and Brian truly ended Queen + due to depression over Freddies loss and also frustration over the other fact Roger and Brian choose not to ever work with a adequate frontman for Queens songs after Freddies death (Queen truly ending with Freddies death). Nice to see otherwise.
I disagree when you say about an adequate frontman. Queen + Paul Rodgers was a really great union. Paul gave us his way to sing Queen songs, and he ruled it. But yeah, I miss John walking around at this premiere. He really should be there.

It's not the critics who are important it's the people who go see the movie who are important and their views. Critics are paid to review a movie and some of them get it wrong. Don't pay attention to the paid critics just go see this movie with an open mind and make your own mind up. I've seen the movie and loved it. All the actors were fantastic especially Rami Malik the performance of his life as far as I am concerned. I'd watch the movie again.

I am sure Brian and the rest of the band would not of allowed anything to tarnish freddies memory. I will definitely be going again to see it.
