No idea offhand. Something like 'really really damn low' to 'pretty low'. I'm not a singer so I have no idea beyond I can do a really good Johnny Cash haha.
I can't tell you how awesome this set of dnb tutorials has been to watch. This is what I've been looking for as I use Cubase too and I'm struggling with layering more than anything. Cheers dude.
you cant really tell because of the level difference when bypassed, I usually take the output levels of the fx down to match the original level, only that way you have a proper comparison of the change you initiated. not like you don't know but watching this video it was difficult to really get what you mean due to this.
Sounds fucking amazing! I love the heavenly artefacts trailing after you click stop. Please let us know when this track is released, because I'd like to get it. Tutorial is very helpful, though music production seems so difficult to get into. I wish I knew more about it and could get stuck in.
For sure dude! Will be out eventually, likely through Vibes as they're always awesome to us! As mentioned on discord, I'll have a video about some of the more 'how to get into production' and 'getting started' type stuff soon!
Yo dude! Thanks haha, I've only made like 3 dnb songs in my life (this being one of those 3) but I have been listening to a lot of it lately which was a big influence on this track. We may continue to experiment with the sound going forward, who knows!
Glad you enjoyed it! That is actually my track called 'The Silence' and the vocals are from my fiance haha. She was the other half of Venus Theory at the beginning but doesn't really do music stuff anymore.
Venus Theory I actually assumed it was a licensed sample from a sample pack, she has incredible talent then! It’s a beautiful vocal on a fantastic track! Respect to you both and thanks for the reply 😊
In Ableton, you can experiment with Saturator! Otherwise, Melda Productions has a bunch of free plugins which I believe includes a waveshaper which would do what Trash 2 does!
With a voice like that, I can see how bass is his expertise
lol
@@VenusTheory What is your vocal range if you don't mind my asking?

@@VenusTheory you EDM guys with your lack of conventional music knowledge. Lol jk

Glad it was helpful!
I feel like with your techniques you implanent into music production you would be much better suited to making dnb
Especially minimal roller type dnb

Glad to hear it!
I love the track! Great tutorial too! Really helpful! I love the vocal, where is that from? Do you use sample packs for vocals or a vocalist?

Yoooo who did that intro animation??
Very educational. What is the DAW you’re using?
Yo dude! Glad to hear it! This is Cubase Pro 9.5 here - been using Cubase for a loooooong time now, really enjoy it!
thank you, Broh!
No problem, glad it was helpful!
10:40 Damn, I was just about to ask if you know any vst's which basically do the same (preferably Ableton stock plugins)
In Ableton, you can experiment with Saturator! Otherwise, Melda Productions has a bunch of free plugins which I believe includes a waveshaper which would do what Trash 2 does!
Was the joe ford video the one you were thinking of?
Ooooh maybe that was it! I wanted to say Joe Ford but I couldn't remember who it was haha. I just remember it was ableton.
@@VenusTheory ye that was joe ford haha super neat trick isnt it .. makes really interesting phasing
Next tutorial, how do you layer your voice to sound so sexy? :))
Haha thanks. Speak from the chest and not the head is the best advice I can give - other than that it's just a weird genetic lottery haha.
His voice reminds Postal Dude
your voice is a bass
i will buy your larynx 5 dollars please
i need your voice
