Strike and Dip: How do I take a bearing using a Brunton compass?

    Hi Dr coulson I have watched this video again and again but still confused how to take Reading please show details by taking
    Please make any drawing by taking Reading I m still confused how to take Reading between two ends of Needle

      Hi there, I'm sorry you are confused. Remember that the "E" and the "W" on a Brunton are switched. So the "E" is actually on the west side, and the "W" is actually on the east side of the compass. This makes it easier to READ straight off of the Brunton.

    Why not just take the dip direction, then if u want to know the strike just add or take 90 degrees. Really dont like this way. I understand why you teached this way, because people need to undestand the concept, but in the daily basis when you are mapping it is way easy just take the dip direction.
