Didn’t even think about silicone, is it safe for the water though? I’ve been using the seachem superglue from Amazon but bloody hell is it expensive and then the tube hardens no matter how good you close it. Someone told me to try the green gorilla glue but I’m going to do some research on this silicone. Love the angled frag racks for the back, genius idea
I’ve been looking jecod has a new dmp wave maker that is like a copy of the ecotech mp pumps and are about 100p I think, or right around 100 usd, they are supposed to be more quiet and much cheaper.
Just ordered 3 of these off your Etsy store but then bought the silicone off Amazon without using your link like a plonker, sorry! Your algae scraper link is the same as the silicone link in the description btw 😊
Ct1 silicone if you want a cheaper option :) 100% aquarium safe, cures underwater, super strong. Used it for years :) even repaired a smashed aquarium pain with it once in an emergency.
@@ReefDork not tried that one :) ct1 is sold in the shop down the road from me so it's just convenient :) Every aquarist needs some underwater curing silicone to hand and maybe even some spare glass, you never know when it might save you :) like when I dropped a tumble dryer door on a temporary holding tank 😫
Great video and cool little 3d printed accessories. I do love to see corals covering the back wall of the reef, breaking up the black glass. 🙌✨
Goes on Etsy to find weir box frag plug holders and realize your the only one who makes them anywhere. “Cheeky bastard”🤣 nice advert
those corals look bloody lovely! great idea for those shallow scapes
Ordered these Saturday delivered Monday, fantastic service and look forward to installing them soon.
Simple and effective, brilliant! Any soft or easier coral recommendations for these? I was thinking maybe hammers and torches?
Anything you like basically!
Love this Alex!
Great video and cool. Thanks for sharing.
Brilliant idea and a bonus you don’t need to empty the tank of water to mount them

As long as you use aquarium safe silicone, it's fine. I still only use superglue for frags though...
Nice! Do you ship to the US?
Yep!

I've ordered one - should be here tomorrow. Will do a review soon...
Sounds great, to me jecod pumps are probably the best budget pump for aquariums.
By algae do you also mean coraline or will they stick to that ok?
Yep, you'll need to scrape coralline off - it'll need to sit on glass only
what light do u use
On the main tank, Red Sea ReefLED 160s and 2 AI Blades. On the Cade, a Kessil a360x and 2 AI Blades.
Will the silicone come of the glass cleanly if I ever want to remove the bracket?
Yeah, really easily - you can just scrape it straight off

Not sure the best way to get a hold of you. I sent you a message about some fish you might have been looking for. Not in UK but maybe still helpful.
Comments section is always the best. Thanks for flagging but if it's outside of the UK I won't be able to get it 🙁
Can any parasites or diseases that can effect fish in a aquarium infect humans
Nope
If I stuck my hand in like that, my clown would definitely be drawing blood 😢
Awesome I was wondering how I could add some corals to make my 30 inch tall tank look fuller this is perfect

HA6 is even cheaper! It's just annoying that it comes in such a large container...
I’ve tried to get my gps frag to the back wall with coral glue (never lasted more than 3 days). I’ll try that thx.
