Hi, happy to see you again and that you are fine...i am thinking to buy first time a DAC but do you know if it makes sense if you
use a DAC with similar DAC iinside like the used DAP has built in?..is there still a benefit for sound or should you use a DAC only when it has a better DAC built in than your DAP?

Thank you! I think it's totally a matter of your taste, do you need a similar sound or not. Subjectively, if I'd use a DAC, I'd take something with a different signature, to have alternatives

Im just curious why would you test on a dap instead on a normal phone. Sound from a dap with a dongle in any way sound better than out from phone. In that case I think is quite inaccurate to test a dongle dac on it sound out from a dap unless this dongle dac is only meant for a dap.

Working as a transport Android smarthpone and DAP are totally the same, especially using UAPP. In both cases UAPP works with dongle directly, so there is no difference what to use for tests
