I had the honor of shaking KC Jones's hand. He was a member of a golf club I played at. His house was next to the 3rd hole. I saw him in the clubhouse once and met him. He's a great person.
Yeah, he was that great. And I know UCLA was good for years before he got there. But aside from Jamaal Wilkes, whoever did anything after leaving UCLA on his squad?
@Amick44 Kareem was at UCLA before Walton which is why they were sooo good prior to his years there. Walton was one of the few people who could effectively guard Kareem.
Thank you so much for this. Miss Walton, he was so positive and fun. And he gave us such good insights into the way the Celtics and Larry worked.
Larry Legend! The Legend Continues... 👍
Bill is a legend as well. My pick as the top college player. Though I understand arguments for Russell and Kareem as well.
I LOVE THE 1986 TEAM WAS A LOT OF FUN WITH BILL BIRD AND KEVIN AND ROBERT AND DJ.RIP
U can clearly tell how much Walton liked playing with Bird lol.... dude is mad passionate when talking about it
Totally.
He had so much fun.
It was a gift.
Larry said Bill Walton was healthy when he wanted to be😂

Bill says he was always on Championship teams. Elementary, hs, college, and pros! I wonder why?

The single greatest team that's ever played basketball.
I like how he says “rolling and rocking” as opposed to the cliche rocking and rolling.
Larry Bird was the greatest.
I feel ur pain when playing a center in 2k. hate inbounding the ball
Take a page from Bird's repertoire and do a full court precision inbound pass for a layup.
@@cindyknudson2715 the inbounding isn't the problem. It being forced to be the inbounder i didn't like.
Think of how LB would have played under John Wooden during the BW days. Scary is all I can think of.
