H2O has good memories for me. Was my fist time overseas and was working in the States in 1998. My uncle dropped me off at the local mall not far from where they live in Yorktown Heights. I remember the movie took for ever to start, and some guy getting pissed saying....start the movie!!!! or something like that lol.
Glad they kept the slipcases for continuity for those who picked up the first five last year.

Halloween resurrection for me is the most entertaining Halloween movie. Not the best movie but the most entertaining

Very happy about the slipcases. This seems like a great set.
Im OCD with my collecting and I must say, they did it well as far as packaging. Thank God they kept the hardboxes with similar artwork as the others. Love that they have the original artwork with the reversible artwork on the inside and disc art. They honestly nailed it all as far as packaging is concerned. Hoping for A1 transfers.
H20 is my favorite of the 3. It's the 1st Halloween film I ever saw as well. Hartnett and Jamie gave A1 performances.

Great video man! I picked this set up mainly for Halloween 6 that movie has grown on me so much over the years. It’s now one of my favorites of the series. Unfortunately H20 has had the opposite effect over the years. I still enjoy it though and that ending is so chilling!

I just can't get into the autumn leaves theme with the covers on these. I'm tempted as I'm now into the 4k thing but I'm waiting in hopes they'll do a complete box set with everything from 1978-2022. Nice unboxing video.

ive got some VERY interesting information on the halloween 6 release. youll hear more today.
I have changed my mind back and forth so many times on this release. I absolutely love this franchise. I especially really like the movies in this set. I just think it it priced so high. But I really want to support physical media and I want to support this franchise. So, in order to justify placing it back on pre-order with Amazon, to justify the price to myself, I have cancelled some of my other pre-orders. I’ve cancelled about $60 worth of pre-orders I previously had so that in my brain, I’m only paying $40 more to get this.
This is one of my favorite IP’s, behind Jason Voorhees and Freddy Krueger, so I had to find a way to justify it in my own brain.

I'll probably end up taking that outer box off and just put the movies next to my Halloween 1-5 4k's that I got from scream factory. I think there is a guy on Etsy who also makes really nice looking outer boxes for movie collections. I might get one of those and stick the entire set in.
I'm curious if Halloween 1 and 2 from Rob Zombie will get a 4k release next year, or if that just will never happen. I'm not the biggest fan of either of the movies, but it would be nice to own every Halloween release in 4k for collection purposes.
Also happy 1st of October. I hope you get a lot of good horror movie watching in. Perhaps you could even do a video on some horror movie suggestions to watch for the year 2022 this spooky month. I was a big fan of your suggestion for Black Christmas. It's now one of my favorites!

Waiting for mine to come in also found a guy on Etsy who makes several sizes of a series case like the 15 disc case very good and several different sizes (ordered the largest size that can hold all 13 current movies)
I may look into that.
Kinda ridiculous that Shout didn't give us a quality hard box, especially given the hefty price.

i just blind bought this set last night! I honestly like all (3) films didn’t like H2O for the longest time until i seen Halloween (2018) then i truly appreciated what H2O was (the box set is over priced even for UHD’s but, what can you do …..
I have this coming excited to revist all of them in the best quality possible even resurrection

Did the discs come rattling around inside the case? I heard those cases have that issue of not holding the discs well

@@PlanetCHH I pray that they do make it on 4K both of them then we will officially have all of the Halloween movies on 4K But on honesty I think I’m glad that they did the first eight but it’s gonna take probably another year at least to even consider doing the remake and part two remake from Rob Zombie‘s creation Which in all honesty I think will be totally dope for them to Put both of them on 4K but you know company rights and everything

I just wish most of these 4k releases hit the UK. It's very frustrating as if I import, only the 4k disc will work so it's pointless as I like to be able to watch all of the extras etc too. Hopefully within the next few years, blu ray discs will be Region Free as standard but I doubt it. One can dream!

Resurrection is easily the best film in the set so glad they did a lot of stuff for it.

this is a gppd deal cuz if you get the first 5 plus theese its cheaper than the blu ray set on amazon like $800 LOL
To be fair even if the big box was a hard case or not I'm still pretty sure a big majority of people would still just throw the box out and display their movies with the hard slips or get a custom box made because that big box art is really really bad. I think scream factory even knew it and that's why they went with a cheaper feeling box. Lucky for me I'm in no hurry to buy this set right now because of the price point & because of my ps4 disc drive crapping out on me. Which means no blu-ray's watching into get it fix or just buy a blu-ray player. I'm not really bothered by the Halloween 4k art besides their box set art. I think they all look pretty decently good.
Bet the studio made them release them this way because they knew it was the only way shitty Resurrection would get sold

The packaging is ridiculous. The discs don’t fit in the case properly and fall out. Very very cheap packaging for a hefty price.
I passed on this set just seems weird that they released these 3 films as a box set instead of all of them at once....i'll wait until they release a boxset that has the current trilogy in it

@@lobesmcgee but over $100 for three middling to godawful (Resurrection killed the franchise for a time) installments is ridiculous considering the Halloween blu-ray set when in print was going for that for 10 movies in 2014. Shout seems to really be taking advantage of the 4k people who need to upgrade everything they've already upgraded 5 times already and it's just a little too high. If they wanted to slap a $200 price tag on all the Halloween movies on 4k, that might be reasonable, but while I didn't really have a problem upgrading 1-3 when I found them for $15 at Half Price Books once on 4k, I just don't feel like I absolutely need to part with my blu-ray copies of 6-8 for that high of a price. I enjoy the Producers Cut of Curse and H20 has some fun nostalgia attached to it, but I've owned enough copies of these movies already that the transfer is going to have to literally be better than humanly imaginable to make me want to spend over $100 when I spent that on the old bd set for 10 movies and multiple bonus discs in 2013-2014
