Oh wow what a gem im from leicester down the road seen the pistols 6 times on reunion tours met glen and john and have a collection 250 items, bootlegs box set ive got this in my collection but still a nice find.
6:00 It sucks punk was commodified and commercialized almost from the get go but it's great to see Rotten giving some love to some lesser known heroes at the time like the Slits
Hes not wrong,but the bands john slags off are great bands in Thier own rights,no need to harp on about how original he was ,we all know it but no need to keep reminding us all bit boring sometimes,love old john but sometimes....🇬🇧
I will always love not only Johnny but the whole band. Also they were a great live act. Who says they can't play their instruments,? That's just ridiculous. Obviously the band rehearsed enough to get their shit together to go live and play. They will always be the BAND WHO CHANGED THE WORLD 😅
Yeah.. thank God they came along! I wonder what would've happened if they wouldn't, the world would probably be a lot greyer. DIY's still the best! DO IT YOURSELF. Get off your arse and do your thing. Don't compromise, and be creative in life, love, music, film, art, etc. Anything. That's one of the things that keeps me going in this life..
@@baronsaturday2103 Ramones and Television would have still carried on the tradition, the Sex Pistols just accelerated punk to a crazy level, in just a few months it was an international thing and had it's own fashion, ethos... etc.
