"i watched my dad play KOTOR" - dies of old age. I do feel Bethesda will never want Vegas being remade just because i feel they hate how it over shadows their own Fallouts so much.. :( this makes me a sad old panda.
yes, of all their idiocy, Bethesda unfortunately realizes how much better NV is than their own stuff... and as you say, that's cause for them to never let it shine. truly a tragedy. :(
Honestly I really disagree that Doom looks bad. It really has such a unique look compared to other pseudo 3d shooters that came after it. It's a little janky in places, but every asset fits perfectly together to my eye. It's why I don't like 3d Doom remakes, they just don't have a similar vibe. Like, I think by comparison, quake looks way, way worse then doom by a country mile. It's still a good game, but by comparison the drab colors mixed with very mid-nineties models are just kinda bad looking.
i really like how doom 3 looks but also i really like doom eternal and doom 2016. i like both and theyre all pretty valid and are all pretty muchh their own games
People will explain time and time again why new vegas is so good, yet you have to download atleast 8 mods so it does not crash after 5 mins because your pc isnt running windows xp.
then they'll say "once you get over that-" and that's just when i stop listening. unfortunately, actually being able to play the game is fundamentally important to me and most people
F:NV fans about to absolutely lose their shit when they see that there's someone who made a video essay that isn't constantly glazing the absolute bestest game ever made with zero flaws that runs perfectly and everything wrong with it is Bethesda's fault while everything good about it was entirely, 100% Obsidian's doing.
I really don't mind old school graphics and have played numerous games from even older eras. The only era I don't like is the jank "polygon" era which I think is by far the worst from an artistic perspective. As for games like KoToR and New Vegas; I think they're fine. A remaster certainly wouldn't hurt, but isn't necessarily needed. I don't mind when video games looked like video games. I get an "uncanny valley" from a lot of modern games where something obviously is graphically "better" but comes off as plastic and very creepy. Both those games (especially New Vegas) have mods in place which greatly enhance the graphics as well. Remasters have been coming off VERY poorly as of the last few years. If they are done, doing them right is required; otherwise I'm fine with them as is.
@@nathanedwards7374 I think the first 2 Fallout games are in need of a remaster far more than New Vegas. There are some classic games that are just a little too "old and janky" for me but ones I know I'd love. Those 2 come to mind as well as Planescape Torment. I also wouldn't mind VTMB but, given how shitty the sequel looks, maybe it's best to leave as is.
After watching the video there is one thing i hate, and i see it often. Its games with a player base that loves it to deal, and is willing to help devs make the game better, and what do they get? Nothing fat fucking nothing. Big mods? Cease and desist. Offers of money? Nope. Its worse when its an mmo. Because you cant make mods for them and the devs wont update it for 1 2 3 10 years.
this video is as good as a slovenian horse burger with bacon for dinner
this video feels like one from a youtuber that uploads once a month, leaving you anticipating the next. very good, i hope it blows up
thank you :)
And yet, in spite of all that, it's still one of the best games, ever.
it truly is God's favorite game.
Im not religious at all and Joshua Graham is still my favorite video game character ever

to each their own. i really just don't like the "blockiness" that comes with that era of games

0:43 i already love this video
Only problem is that New Vegas has aged very gracefully
I literally can't boot the game on my PC without it crashing at minimum once per hour, so I'm gonna need you to define "gracefully" for me here.
May the gods look upon you, my deer nokotan friend
LoTop Films, incredible video. No idea who you are but I really wish you get millions of views out of this

Fair enough, but i reckon getting remasters of games that ACTUALLY need them would be awesome, imo i feel like last of us is beating a dead horse.
