Young Kratos: Strong, Vengeful, more agile, and filled with rage and no sympathy for the opponents. Attacks are consecutive and a bit careless.
Veteran Kratos: Strong, a bit slow (due to his age), Attacks are precise, Had emotional stability, and has sympathy for the opponents unless they'll willing to kill him.
Greek gods are supposed to get stronger by age yet he's slower

Instead, their power is determined by their divine nature and the worship they receive from mortals. Ascension looks pretty fun. Never played it since I was already sick of GOW already when it came out. Now that I’ve played (and loved) 2018 and Ragnarok/Valhalla, I kinda miss the old Kratos.

Ascension animations, SFX and VFX are superior to both 2018 and Ragnarök.
SFX are kinda tied
allthough nothing beats the magical chain SFX of ascension

I was personally sick of GOW when it came out, so I missed out. I’m definitely intrigued by it now.

Ah yes, the young Kratos is the pinnacle of what all men should strive to be. Violent, hateful, killing as many innocents as possible for mildly inconveniencing you, and ultimately genociding your entire home and people. All while the Old Kratos works through his problems by using his intelligence and compassion to help people. Men who help other people are weak and pathetic men. That’s the message here right?
